Chapter 12

GEORGINA SOLANCA

He was impeccably a perfect guy, I can sense how he is matured enough to take responsibility for his actions, and how he was determined to make amendments despite the fact that he just knew about my pregnancy recently. Although, I have no problem with that but I cannot stop myself from overthinking that he might just dump us.

A knock on my door echoed and Manang Tessa entered. "Ma'am, pinapatawag po kayo sa baba may paguusapan daw po kayo." sabi niya at tinanguan ko lang siya bilang tugon.

What if sabihin ko nalang sa parents ko ang about kay Conrad? I think they will probably accept him, kasi siya naman mismo ang nagpakilala at inako ang mga babies.

Tumayo nalang ako at inayos ang damit bago bumaba ng tuluyan. Naglakad ako palabas ng room ko at sinara ang pinto. I have to tell my family about him, this is for everybody's relief and for my peace of mind.

Dahan-dahan akong bumaba at laking gulat ko nang makita kung sino ang mga nakaupo sa sofa namin. Kumpleto silang lahat pati na rin si Sofia at kuya na ngayo'y seryosong nakatingin sa akin habang naglalakad.

"What are you doing here?" tanong ko kay Conrad na komportableng naka-upo sa harap ng pamilya ko kasama na ang mga bodyguard niyang nakatayo sa likod naming lahat.

"It's been a week since we last talked and I haven't heard any update from you so I decided to come over without prior notice. Is that bad?" sagot niya at ngumiti pa sa parents ko, ang parents ko naman ay magkahawak-kamay na pangiti-ngiti pa kay Conrad. You earned their favor that easy, huh?

Umupo ako ng dahan-dahan sa couch at tinitignan ng seryoso at kabuuan ni Conrad na para bang wala lang sa kanya ang mga presensya ng pamilya ko. Si Sofia naman ay nagmadaling kumalas sa braso ni kuya Tristan at umupo sa tabi ko.

"As you've said earlier, you told us that you're the father of my daughter's children right?" sabi ni Daddy at tumango-tango naman si Conrad. Kanina pa pala sila nag-uusap pero ngayon lang ako pinatawag?

"Yes, Sir. That's right." confident na sagot ni Conrad at napairap ako ng titignan niya ako ng may halong ngiti. You're not funny! Sigaw ko sa isip. "I know, I showed up late. I didn't knew she was pregnant, and I was hell busy with my business abroad. I apologize for not being here as soon as I can." tuloy niya pa at makikita mo talaga sa mukha niya ang senseridad habang patuloy na nagsasalita sa harap ng pamilya ko.

"We're not mad. In fact, we're very happy to know that you took accountability for what you did to my daughter. Besides, it's not late for you to recuperate your relationship with her." Mom said. Of course they don't know that it was just a 1-night stand. I took a glance at Conrad's face and his expression were undefined as he heard about relationship.

"Hopefully. I'll do anything for them especially to my children soon." he assured. "I'm planning to stay in Philippines to watch over Georgina until she gives birth. And after, I'll bring her with me in Turkey if you will all agree."

"No. I'm better here with my family, I understand that you are worried with the babies but I'm fine living here." sabi ko at biglang napatingin kay Mommy na ngayo'y naka-kunot ang noo habang pinapakinggan ang mga pinagsasabi ko.

"Anak, don't be silly. Conrad just want the best for you and your children, I know that he's responsible enough to provide you and the babies soon a better life ahead." pagtutol ni Mommy gayundin ang pagsupport ni Daddy sakanya.

"Don't force Solanca to be with that guy, let her be. It's not really necessary to be together given the fact that this guy just showed up so late." kuya Tristan broke his silence and I smiled at him as he defended my side. He always has my back no matter what.
