A month later:
"Jake?" He shifted in the bed, putting the blanket over his head, "baby, I have news to tell you! Will you listen?" He removed the blanket, and opened his one eye, to show me that he was listening. I swallowed the lump in my throat, and seeing my nervousness, he picked me up, and laid me down on top of him. He rubbed circles on my back, "honey...we need to go shopping for junior Jake!" I told him news in one blurt! His eyes shot open, as he processed what I had said.
After a minute or two, he started kissing my stomach, "is it my little princess, or my little soldier?"
"Princess...." I stopped as his eyes were filled with happiness, "and soldier!" I smiled. His eyes went wide, as his smile reached his ears.
"Sof, you have made me the happiest man alive!" He nearly shouted, kissing me passionately.
My story had many obstacles in my path, but all of them lead to me finding my true love, and my little ones that were on their way!
Challenges are what makes life interesting, and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful!
