"What. In Oblivion. DID YOU DO!? THAT'S -THAT'S! BY THE DIVINES. THAT'S CRAZY JADE! YOU'RE CRAZY!" Brynjolf shouted.
"I-I don't know! I panicked! What am I suppose to do?!"
"WHAT'S THE FIRST RULE HERE!?"
"Don't steal from or attack another member of the Guild."
"WELL... THE SECOND RULE!"
"Don't cheat Tonilia."
"Third rule?" Bryn said confused.
"You get caught and we've never heard of you."
"Forth rule???"
"Our little Vex is the best infiltrator this rat hole of a guild's got, so don't even think about trying to replace her."
"I never realized we had so many rules...how many are there?"
"Five. Old Delvin wrote a book on it; along with the shadow marks."
"Then the last one's probably the one I'm looking for."
"Keep your blade clean." Jade mumbled.
"Exactly. We don't really have much of an option now though..." He said sadly.
"What do you mean?"
"You're going to have to leave. If the guards caught you then it could put the rest of the Guild in danger. You should probably leave before tomorrow morning."
"You...you can't do that. This is my home, my family."
"So you must understand why you need to go. I promise it won't be permanent, just until things with Grelod clear up a bit." He spoke softly.
"What am I suppose to do?"
"You wanted to go see the Dark Elves, right? You can head north and find somewhere to hide out in Windhelm." Bryn's voice wavered.
"Brynjolf..."
He remained silent. Jade turned away and stuffed her, small amount of belongings in a bag, and started to climb out of the Cistern.
"I'm sorry, lass."
"Me too."
