"Welcome, my sister. Welcome of our Sanctuary. You have made the right choice joining us, I assure you." He spoke brightly. "Did I scare you? Forgive me, I am Veezara." The Argonian said with a slight dip of his head.

"Oh, don't worry about it. You would think that living with thieves for six years would get you used to that kind of thing, though." Jade responded lightheartedly.

        "You are with the Guild?"

"I used to be...the same thing that got me invited into this family was the very reason that I was kicked out of the Guild."

"Ah, the Guild does tend to frown upon sort of the very thing we enjoy..."

"You speak of the Guild with remembrance. Were you once among them?"

"No, I was a Shadowscale.  An assassin in service to the King of Black Marsh, my homeland. I was trained by the Dark Brotherhood since the day of my hatching, but today I am the last of my kind. My order is extinct. I've been here happily serving under Astrid ever since. However, I know of your Guild because on one them stayed here for a small amount of time."

        "Really?" Jade asked wide eyed.

"Yes, one of the new thieves attempted to rob a tavern, but he failed and ended up killing someone. Gallus, the Guild Master at the time sent him to live out with us until the tension from the murder died down. He became part of our Family for a time and he and Astrid grew to be... very well acquainted, but that broke off after he left. I believe his name was Delvin."

"Delvin? Are you sure it wasn't Dirge?"

"I was only fifteen at the time, but I'm sure it was Delvin."

        "Dear Talos."

"You there, Jade was it? Come here." Nazir called to her.

She flashed Veezara a quick smile, "Duty calls,"  and turned to Nazir.

"I look forward to your return, Jade."
