I finish the course and trot over to James as he says, nodding in approval, "Nice and early. Clean round."

"Okay! Fine. We'll train with you, even though you're my least favourite person in the world and I'd much rather train with my dad, instead," I mumble.

"Zoe said something along the same lines. Here. Do the course again with the whip," He says.

I roll my eyes but take it and canter Pegasus through the course yet again, using the crop this time.

"Are we done?" I ask when I halt before him.

"Nice round, Lund. But are you sure you can still beat your boyfriend?"

"Pin does not scare me one bit. I know his moves better than anyone on this team," I say smugly. "I can take Hawthorne any day of the week!"

I dismount Pegasus and lead him out of the arena to his stall. I tie him up and take off my helmet before I untack Pegasus and brush him down.

Mia soon comes out, looking P. Oed as she speaks up. "As of this moment, no one—absolutely no one—is to be seen consorting with anyone from Halloway." Mia adds as I walk out, past James who is leaning against the wall, brushing my hands off, "And, yes, Izzy, that applies to a certain traitor, whose name I can't even bear to speak."
