"HEY! ARE YOU STILL AT THE HOSPITAL?" tanong ni Astrid kay Kairo mula sa telepono iyon ang agad na tanong niya nang sagutin ng binata ang tawag niya.
"Yes but Genesis is not here," sagot nito sa kabilang linya.
"What do you mean not there? Where is he?" biglang iniliko ng marahas ni Felicity ang sasakyan.
"Levi called him someone broke in his coffee shop and kidnapped her waitress,"
"What! Genesis
"Did they saw the person?"
"
No, they didn't! They were all wearing masks and a black cloak,"
Biglang napatingin si Astrid sa librong nasa kaniyang kandungan.
"Don't let Professor Leone come near you or Gianna," ani niya.
"I don't get it! Why?"
"Professor Leone is a member of The Brotherhood!"
There was a long pause and she can only hear the harsh breathing of Kairo on the other line.
"Is there something wrong?" Tanong ni Astrid
"Leone um, he, um.." Kairo started to stutter which was very unusual. Astrid knows that Kairo doesn't stutter.
"What?!" Astrid impatiently asked.
"Leone invited the whole AKT members in a dinner party which will be held in school,"
"What do you mean dinner party? For?" sunod-sunod na tanong ni Astrid ngunit bago pa nito sagutin ang tanong niya ay biglang tumunog ang kanilang phone.
All their cellphones beeped in unison. Astrid checked her notification tab and there she saw a message from Genesis' sister- Alessandra.
"Were here at Pontus! Prof Leone invited us in a dinner party! T'was an abrupt invitation tho! Were here at the Poseidon Bldg. Left Wing! Let's go!" basa ni Seelie.
Astrid's mouth automatically opened.
Her mouth gaped in disbelief.
"Wait what?!" tanong niya kay Seelie at ibinaling naman ang tanong kay Kairo na nasa telepono.
"What?! The whole members? In school?!" She asked
"Yes, Pontus never close,"
"No!!! That is carnage! Every women there will die! You stay there with Gianna and I will go to school," aniya narinig pa niya ang pag protesta ni Kairo sa kaniyang desisyon ngunit pinutol na ni Astrid ang tawag.
Natulala si Astrid nang ibinaba niya ang kaniyang cellphone.
"What happened?" Tanong ni Felicity.
"Leone invited the whole members of AKT in a 'dinner party' pero papatayin lang niya lahat ng dadalo do'n, its a carnage!" Nag aalalang wika niya.
Binalot ng katahimikan ang sasakyan ni Felicity hindi rin ito makapaniwala sa sinabi ni Astrid.
"You go with Seelie save her father and I'll take care Leone's dinner party," paglatag ng plano ni Astrid.
"But its too dangerous," ani ni Felicity sabay tapak sa accelerator ng sasakyan nito.
"Yes Astrid its dangerous," dugtong din ni Seelie. Nagulat siya sa tinuran nito hindi niya akalain na magiging maalalahanin pala ang katulad ni Seelie.
"We also need to save them! Our sisters," dugtong pa ni Seelie. Putting an emphasis to her last word.
Nilingon niya si Seelie na nakaupo sa likod.
"Seelie your father needs you, you have to find him," mahinahong wika niya.
