~Judy's POV~

With a stomach full of three spoonfuls of cereal and half a cup of coffee, I rush towards the front door to leave for work, Nick following closely behind me.

"Why are you always in such a rush to start working? I admire the enthusiasm, but either way, you get paid the same amount you know." Nick said.

"Just don't want to be late." I reply, shutting the door once we step out onto the corridor.

All of a sudden, two capybaras walk out of the front door next to us, then spots Nick and I straight away.

"Oh hi! This must be our first time meeting I believe, it's nice knowing who our next door neighbours are!" One of them says.

I put the aim of wanting to get to work on hold for a second and attempt at small talk.

"Awh, well it's nice to meet you both!" I reply, grinning.

"I'm Nancy, and this is my partner in crime, Sam." She gestures to her... husband? Boyfriend? I'll just say significant other to be safe.

"Well I'm Judy, and here's my partner in stopping crime...Nick!" I gesture to him, who grimaces awkwardly.

"Oh! You hear that, Sam? Our next door neighbours are police officers! Boy does that make me feel more safe around here. Thank you for your service."

They're so sweet! "It's no problem, although we do need to get going, saving the town and all. Haha, see you around!" I reply.

Luckily, me and Nick arrive at the bulliten room just in time for Chief to come in to do registration. I wait patiently, secretly hoping that Nick and I recieve another mission where we can keep on our feet.

"Officers Grizzoli, Higgins, Francine; undercover. Officers Jackson, Simmers, Anderson; street prevalence.
Officers Hopps, Wilde... Follow me to my office."

Huh? We look at eachother in confusion on our chair, then jump off of it to walk behind the Buffalo. After he let's us inside, we then take a seat in front of his desk, anxious for what he had in store for us.

"I, um, wanted to talk about what happened in the interrogation room yesterday." He says after shutting the door and sitting down.

Nick and I exchange a look for a second.

"Oh, do you guys have more updates on the case?" I ask.

I could tell that Nick was thinking what I was thinking. But we both stayed calm.

"Yes, that's being taken cared of now. But, that wasn't the reason why I called you two in here."

This sets me more on edge. There was silence in the room for a short while.

"I saw what happened in there."

"Everything?" Nick chokes.

"Everything."

"No...no no no...Sir, please. If you could just...I mean maybe-" My voice breaks out of desperation. Every sense of my reality feels as though it's slipping away. The two-way mirror... I should have remembered! Why was I being so careless... They have one in every interrogation room. And Chief happened to be listening in. All I can do is listen to him reveal more of what he has to say.
