Charlotte's POV

The weeks came and went until it was July 7th, Ringo and Charlotte's birthday. The boys couldn't wait to celebrate their birthday, as Ringo and Charlotte planned to share the day.

Charlotte was sleeping in her bed peacefully until Isabel began jumping on her mattress, causing the sleeping girl to raise her head slowly and start looking around.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAAY!!" Her roommate shouted, bouncing harder and faster until Charlotte began to lift off the bed.

"What? Oh, well a nice present would be if you let me sleep longer," She said groggily.

Isabel had not yet stopped so Charlotte decided to swipe her leg under her feet and trip her. She fell onto the bed and gasped. Izzy grabbed a pillow and smacked Charlotte's head with it playfully. She mumbled sleepily and rolled off the bed.

"Come on, I and the guys have a surprise for you—"

"George?" Charlotte shot up from her bed and stared at her roommate with wide eyes through her messy hair.

"Yes, and Ringo, John, and Paul," Isabel explained.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" She rushed to get ready to see her boyfriend and applied her perfume (which she rarely uses) and some mascara (she doesn't use that much either)

"Ohhhh, getting all dressed up for George?" Izzy smirked, leaving the room to give her roommate some privacy.

...

Charlotte and Isabel arrived at the studio after getting ready. Charlotte wore a pleated beige glen-checked dress that flowed down to her knees with heels and her houndstooth coat. She left her hair down, but brushed it and made it shiny and smooth. Isabel was adorned with a slick black dress with a matching diamond necklace and black heels. She wore a nice red lipstick with subtle but not unnoticeable eyeliner. Her hair was styled into a bun and both the girls wore sunglasses and a pair of black gloves.

They waltzed into the building, turning heads with every clack of their heels as they made their way confidently to the recording studio. Charlotte swung the door open and they entered the room with the four boys tuning their instruments. The men looked up at the girls who entered the room and looked them up and down, admiring their attire.

Charlotte smiled at George and swiftly made her way to his side, giving him a small kiss. Isabel, not knowing where to sit, pulled out a stool and sat next to her friend and George.

"Happy birthday Lotti," Paul nodded.

Charlotte took a glance around the room and noticed a large stack of presents stashed in the corner of the room, attempting to be placed out of view, but there wasn't anything to hide them behind. Also, the bright wallpaper stuck out like a sore thumb among the white walls of the recording studio.

"Thanks," She smiled.

They exchanged greetings and small talk until John nodded towards the door, making eye contact with the others. Soon enough, two people came barreling through the doors, making a scene.

When Charlotte got a better look, she noticed it was her parents. Her mother, Linda, appeared by her side and eyed George's fingers entwined with Charlotte's as they held hands. Her father, James, stood next to his wife awkwardly.
