Charlotte's POV

Months had passed and the only thing that seemed consistent in Charlotte's life was her relationship with George and her schoolwork. The Beatles had arrived in America for the first time on February 7th and played on the Ed Sullivan show just two days later. Today, after a week of having returned from America, they began filming their first movie, A Hard Day's Night.

"Hey, I think I should sit there," Paul pointed at the seat closest to the window.

Currently, the boys were aboard the train, getting into place and memorizing lines. Charlotte was, fortunately, able to join the script somehow, being assigned as an extra. She got chosen to speak a few lines rather than to be one of the screaming fans chasing after the boys. Charlotte was one of the schoolgirls in the scene where Paul flirts with them. She was also one of the girls in the train car when John was being pulled away harshly. Charlotte was in 3 scenes in total, her last scene would be when the girls surrounded the band in the luggage car, watching them play.

"Yeah, I do think he should sit there," Ringo added.

"Great, ah, Charlotte," Brian turned to meet the gaze of George's beloved partner.

"Yes?" She asked, ready to do anything he requests of her.

"Are you ready to film your first scene?" He asked her, placing his finger on his chin thoughtfully.

"Yes," She flattened her skirt and ran her hands through her hair.

"Great. Boys?" Brian called, receiving grunts in response. "Let's film the next scene,"

They hopped up from the booth and shuffled over to Brian, who held a clipboard in his hand and a ballpoint pen in the other. He swiveled on his heels to take a glance at the other two girls in the scene with Charlotte. One of the girls, Pattie Boyd, caught Charlotte's eye, so she decided to introduce herself.

She warily approached the blonde woman timidly, feeling inferior to her beauty. Before Charlotte uttered a word, Pattie looked over at her and grinned welcomingly, her smile lighting up the room.
