Leann's Point of View
Why is life like this now? What did we do wrong? It has been a while since we lost Joey. Will he turn into... One of them? No, he can't.
"Harry?'' I call out, to the half asleep Harry, his curls matted with blood from the dead. "Yeah? What's up?" He asks, and yawns. "Do you think that if we just leave Joey there, will he... Turn?" I ask. I can barely get the words out of my mouth, without bursting into tears. "I think so. Go to the back room... I will tak care of him" He says.
"No'' I state. I take a deep breath. "He is... He was my best friend. I can do this." I say, tears blurring my vision. "Are you sure?" Harry asks, with reluctance in his voice. "As sure as I'll ever be."
