Andras wasn't a very good demon - well, bad demon. She found throughout her centuries of life that she very much enjoyed the life of a mortal. They were quite the ingenious little species. Andras spent a lot of time on earth, wreaking havoc, causing the most delightful tragedies. Throughout the years Andras took the occasional human under her proverbial wing, teaching them how to best spite their enemies.

Brutus was by far her favorite. I mean, stabbing Caesar quite literally through the back - it was masterful if she did say so herself.
She always was one for dramatics, but she wouldn't consider herself evil, just morally grey. There were times when she couldn't bring herself to cause harm, not to a child, or a man that had done no crime except existing. Andras only enjoyed torturing the deserving.

So when in 1964 a vampire summons her and asks for his brother's humanity to be restored, she decided she would take another protege. Stefan Salvatore was a very interesting Vampire. At war with himself, caught between his most basic instincts and the pain of his humanity. At his lowest point, he was a ripper. Killing without remorse, tearing through anyone and anything. But what intrigued Andras was the man he was at his best.

What she didn't expect was for him to lead her back to Mystic Falls, a place she'd long since deemed a cesspool for the supernatural. She'd had fun there over the centuries, tortured many hell destined souls, but she'd lost interest as she did with many things. But the same couldn't be said for Stefan. When he saves Elena Gilbert's life, Andras is pulled back to a small town she swore she wouldn't return to.

Andras's superiors in Hell don't look fondly on the kinder acts she's done, and now they think she's gone rogue. It's then that they give her an ultimatum, kill the vampire she's taken under her wing, or spend an eternity in Purgatory. It should be simple, she should be able to rip Stefan Salvatore's heart out without batting an eye. But this task is the one thing she won't do for her masters, and trying to double cross Satan himself, may just be her undoing.

Extra Info

• she is inhabiting a mortal who was a coma patient. She can switch bodies whenever she wants but she likes the human she's wearing so tends to stick with it.
• She is morally grey, more along the lines of Damon, but has a soft spot for certain people

• The last time Andras was in Mystic falls, she murdered Elena's parents for torturing vampires. She discovered their "office" and the gory horrible experiments and decided to murder them. Elena's parent's death has remained unsolved and Elena's car accident is a separate incident a year later. (Right when Stefan returns). She automatically doesn't like the Gilbert family because she thinks they are going to be like Elena's parents but over time their relationship develops and they become allies.

• Lexie is one of her best friends. Damon and she have a mutual respect and go back and forth between friends and enemies. She likes Bonnie and thinks she has fire, but sometimes gets annoyed by how morally sound she is (but she secretly really respects her dedication to her friends). She initially finds Caroline annoying but ends up liking her. Andras has had many interactions with the originals and is friends with Rebekah.

• while she has known Stefan for a long time and is his mentor, their relationship will be slow burn. Andras pretends she doesn't have any attachment to him, but follows him to Mystic Falls and secretly really cares about him.
