The supernatural in Beacon Hills are growing volatile. The Calaveras have always kept to their own territory and never had a reason to venture out. But as more tales of horror reach their ears, Araya Calavera decides it's time to intervene. Alejandra is one of their best hunters, strong, clever, and lethal, yet she never seems to get the recognition she deserves. Always second best in the eyes of Araya, Alejandra sets out to prove her worth to her family.
Alejandra travels alone to Beacon Hills expecting a quick in and out job. Almost as soon as she arrives, she realizes her mistake. Not only is Beacon Hills teeming with supernatural, but someone is picking them off one by one. Alejandra becomes a prime suspect of Scott and his pack. As conditions worsen and more threats arise, they find a common enemy in The Benefactor. Tensions begin to flair between herself and the pack and Alejandra's beliefs are tested when she finds that the supernatural creatures she once thought so evil, are truly just like her. Even worse, she's starting to fall for one.
