Despite being best friends with the Weasley twins for the entirety of her Hogwarts career, Madge never had the pleasure of meeting their ever elusive older brother, Charlie. It isn't until she's invited to the Quidditch World Cup that she finally does. Madge and Charlie instantly bond over their mutual love for magical creatures and neither wishes for the weekend to end. Reluctantly, the two part ways as Charlie returns to Romania and Madge enters her sixth year. Fate, however, has other plans.
The Tri-Wizard Tournament is being held at Hogwarts, and Madge has just turned seventeen. She never expected to actually be chosen. But in a shocking turn of events, Harry Potter's name is pulled from the Goblet of Fire, and a boy of fourteen simply couldn't compete in such a deadly competition without some guidance. So, a helper is chosen to help Harry during the trials, and to her Chagrin, it's Madge.
Dragons. The first trial is dragons, and where there are dragons, you can bet Charlie won't be far behind. As Madge struggles to keep Harry alive, she grows closer to Charlie, who remained at Hogwarts for the duration of the tournament. As the trials wear on, conditions grow more tedious, as a plot is afoot, and Harry is once again the target.
After Cedric Diggory's death and the return of Voldemort, Madge refuses to sit idly by. With much convincing, Madge earns a place amongst The Order of the Phoenix, along with Charlie. When she returns for her seventh and final year, things are much different, and the children are in no way safe from the vindictive Professor Umbridge. Her affection for Charlie grows, while a war brews in the world of magic. Madge must fight to protect the one hope they have to kill Voldemort— the Chosen One.
