Sunoo sat down on the bed while hugging his knees, leaning against the wall. The boy used to love silence and quiet atmospheres but this was too quiet. Of course there were occasionally some screams once in a while so he rather have this silent ringing in his ear than that as it reminded him of what they can do to him. Sunoo had lost all track of time, how long has he even been here ?
His body was cold, and then he heard something like water dripping ? It started getting louder and louder, there was even thunder growling. Sunoo sighed in relief. It was just raining. The sound was faint but he felt calm. The boy missed the rain, very very much. It was his comfort season. Sunoo rubbed his feet a little as it was really cold all of a sudden.
The boy reached for his thin blanket and went under it, wrapping it until he became a small burrito. He couldn't really hear the rain anymore but a familiar song rhythm popped up in his head. It was the first time he remembered something in forever. Sunoo hummed the lyrics, as it brought back memories of how he used to write songs in the rainy weather.
He turned around to see a small warm light. Sunoo felt safe and comforted, although he missed warmth. When Ni-Ki hugged him, he remembered someone's arms wrapped around him, giving comfort. He couldn't remember the face but he knew it was Jungwon. The rhythm in his head got louder, humming, turning into small vocals. He remembered. It was a song he wrote.
Sunoo teared up as he sang the lyrics. He missed someone holding his hand, hugging him, comforting him, praising him, crying with him, laughing together, and most importantly was giving him warmth and talking with him. Sunoo's hands were ice cold, so was his feet. He tried to cuddle more into the blanket, gaining a little warmth.
Then he heard it. The screamings and more bangs on the walls. Sunoo quickly covered his ears, blocking out all the sounds. He wondered why he was here. It was a question repeated in his head 24/7. Did someone hold a grudge on him ? Jay or Jungwon ? But they would never do that... Tears fell as he wiped them away.
His neck started to hurt. Sunoo was sleeping without a pillow, only his head on the hard mattress. The boy quickly sat up as he felt his throat tightening. It was the choker... Right, he forgot about it. Sunoo really wanted to take it off, it was suffocating. Sunoo took the water bottle and drank some of the water.
He laid back down, making sure the choker didn't get in the way this time. The boy went back to becoming a burrito, bringing his knees up to his chest and huffed hot air into his hands. Sunoo closed his eyes, focusing on the rain pouring sound instead of the screams and bangings.
.
Weeks passed by, making it almost 2-3 months since Sunoo was taken away. The boy always had a cold now. It was extremely cold. Sunghoon and Ni-Ki had come into the room to see Sunoo still lying down. The boy was actually awake but he pretended to be asleep as he was scared of being punished again. "Wake up." Sunghoon growled as he knew the boy was awake.
They were not in a good mood. Sunoo thought. He started catching up whether they were in good moods or not so he could prevent death. He slowly sat up, feeling his entire body ache, his body was still facing the wall, his back facing the two. Ni-Ki let out a frustrated sigh and just took Sunoo's shoulder and threw him to the floor, making him scream slightly.
His lips were shaking as he couldn't get up. The boy was really weak, just laying on the floor, not knowing what was coming for him. "Pathetic, you didn't behave well yesterday. You dropped your bowl of soup to the floor. Such an ungrateful brat." Sunoo whimpered as he sobbed, trying to sit up but was only kicked in the head by Sunghoon.
Sunghoon pulled him back, took the choker and tightened it, making it hard for Sunoo to breathe. Ni-Ki passed Sunghoon a black cloth to be tied around the younger's head, blocking his vision. "St-stop-" "Keep quiet. If you scream, I won't hesitate to do worse things." Sunoo bit his lips, controlling his sobs and whimpers.
He was panicking as he couldn't see anything. Sunoo wanted to scream but nothing came out except for small whimpers. Sunghoon carried him bridal style, taking him somewhere. The air felt colder, guessing he was outside his room. His hands were not moving, they were bruised and wounded, feeling numb.
Sunoo heard a door open and he was thrown in, feeling his thigh bruise. The cloth was torn off and Sunghoon loosen his choker. They were in a room, pitch black. No, no. Not this again. Sunoo thought. His back was leaning against a wall. He then saw another silhouette coming into the room and throwing a bucket of water on him, making Sunoo gasp as the water was freezing cold.
This time, he sobbed out loud feeling pain rush down his entire body. It was cold. He felt like he was going to die soon. The door slammed shut as Sunoo crawled to it. He cried out loud as he tried to find the handle. There was no handle. It was locked and opened from the outside only. Sunoo crawled around but only to find four walls and a really low ceiling.
Sunoo realised he was trapped in a small, pitch dark room, nowhere to run, and he was freezing cold, drenched in water.. Feeling no warmth at all.
