Sunoo's mouth was slightly open as he saw they were in a well lit room. The boy was sitting on a single sized bed and the floor had cold white tiles. In the corner there was a table and chair for him to have a proper place to eat meals along with a small cabinet next to the table. The room was quite spacious and you could actually walk around a bit.

"Like it ? It's your new place. Like I mentioned before, you are not like the others. You get special treatment for our personal reasons." Ni-Ki said as he was lying down and Sunoo looked at him, still feeling a little shaken. Sunoo looked in front of him to see two doors. The boy mumbled under his breath and gasped as Sunghoon suddenly lifted his chin, their faces only a few inches apart.

"What was that ? I couldn't hear you." Sunoo quickly shook his head, feeling scared at the question he just mumbled out. "C'mon. Spit it out. Do you want to eat or not ?" The boy gulped after hearing the male's threat. He was already hungry and thought the question couldn't be a big hell of a deal right ?

"How long have I b-been gone ?" There was a few minutes of silence, only rain could be heard as Sunghoon stroked his cheek. Sunoo tried breaking eye contact by lowering his head but stopped everytime by Sunghoon. "Hmm, I think it's been around... 1 year ? Plus a little more months. 1 year and 2 months maybe. Got your answer ? See, I'm not always on full killing mode just because you asked a question right ?"

Sunoo gulped and nodded. Sunghoon frowned and let out a 'tch' as the male felt frustrated. He let go as Ni-Ki suddenly pulled Sunoo into a back hug, making him yelp at the sudden contact. "It's cold, aren't you sleepy ?" Sunoo was frozen, not knowing what he needs to do now. The hug just made him feel... better and comforted.

The boy wanted to cry and hug the male behind him, craving for warmth. He used to hate this type of affection but it's different now. But Ni-Ki was right. Even by just moving for a little bit, his body was turned off. Sunghoon then grabbed the chair and sat in front of Sunoo. Their actions right now were really confusing.

Sunghoon pulled out a box, dragging his chair closer to Sunoo. He opened the box and placed it next to Sunoo before getting up and walking towards one of the doors. The boy could hear the sound of water and saw Sunghoon holding a cloth in his hands. Ni-Ki pulled Sunoo onto the bed so he sat in the middle.

Ni-Ki just looked at him. The boy looked terrible with all the wounds, bruises, some blood stains and he was dirty. Sunoo looked down as he felt uncomfortable with Ni-Ki's stare. "While Sunghoon is doing a small errand, how about I brief you a little about the rules here ?" Sunoo put his lips into a thin line and licked his lips as they were chapped badly.

"You're currently in the basement of our house because you are under our care right now." As much as Sunoo wanted to yell out and say he did not belong to anyone, the knife was sticking out of Ni-Ki's pocket. He scrapped that idea and just kept quiet, continuing to listen to the male's 'explanation'.

"This basement is quite hidden so people might not notice anything. You can shout, yell or sing loudly down here and nobody will hear you. That's nice right ?" Ni-Ki smiled as he stroked Sunoo's head but his eyes were wide open. For the first time, Sunoo was afraid of soundproof walls.

Ni-Ki had brought Sunoo to the room that Sunghoon was in earlier, which turned out to be a small bathroom with a bathtub. Sunghoon helped wash up Sunoo and helped dress the boy in a proper t-shirt and a tracksuit. They were quite big, making Sunoo look tiny. Sunoo felt really weak and useless as he couldn't do anything by himself except sleep. The boy's leg felt like they were broken.

Ni-ki was helping him dry his hair but his mind was all over the place. How was he even going to ask for help if the room was soundproof ? Sunoo then realised there was a small horizontal window above the table. He could see it was raining and dark. "What are you thinking about, I wonder ? Let's not make the room so quiet. Talk." Ni-Ki asked as he finished up, taking a hair tie and started tying the boy's hair.

Sunoo looked down at his hands and mumbled out the question. He was still scared of Sunghoon going to kill him if he asks or talks too much. "What if I need help down here ?"

"Don't worry, we will have a way to communicate." Ni-Ki stood up, letting go of Sunoo which made him cold again. The male came back with a small device in his hand. Sunghoon also came back into the room, his sleeves were folded and held a small basin of water with a cloth soaked in it.

"Oh you're teaching him to use that. I'm going to clean your wounds so stay still. It's going to hurt a lot. Sunoo didn't know that was supposed to be sarcastic, it just made him even more terrified. Ni-Ki was teaching him how to use a walkie talkie and asked him to talk in it. It was nice since it distracted him from the pain as Sunghoon was using a cotton bud that had some antiseptic which burns.

After around 2 minutes, Sunoo had bandages, plasters and even had to wear an ankle guard on both his legs to prevent it from breaking and getting more bruised up. "Yeah, now that you have a walkie talkie, please only call us when it's important. If it's not, I won't hesitate to bury you in the ground alive." Sunoo just gulped, hearing Sunghoon's statement from the bathroom.

Ni-Ki laughed watching the younger's face siffen. " Ah hyung. Stop it. I'm pretty sure he gets the message to not mess around. Let him relax for a bit." Ni-Ki said, hugging the boy tighter. It felt really warm as it was still raining heavily. "Why are you shaking- ah, are you cold ?" Ni-Ki asked as he was playing with Sunoo's shaky hands.
