Sunoo was still sleeping as Ni‐Ki was playing on his switch. As if he had nothing better to do. Sunghoon came into the house, placing the things on the table as he slipped his coat off. It was really chilly outside although it wasn't snowing yet. "How's your condition ? Are you good ?"

Sunghoon had a sleepless week, not being able to function both his mind and body. "I got the usual medications but I needed more rest than ever. My whole body had been overworked." Ni-ki nodded as he pushed the male to his room. "Then go. I will need you later on, you know ? Sunoo will be fine."

Sunghoon sighed, only remembering about Sunoo. It was because of that boy he started having nightmares again. The male didn't even know if it was karma or not. Ni-Ki went back into Sunghoon's room to ask about what the doctor said. "What does Sunoo have to eat ?" Sunghoon sat down on his bed as he ruffled his hair. "We just have to give him porridge and foods that are not dry."

Ni-Ki groaned in frustration. This had meant they needed to cook Sunoo food instead of buying the normal cheap convenience store food that he had been eating for the past two years. "There are some painkillers and a cough syrup bottle in there. His throat is all scratched up so maybe that's why he was bleeding. They say if it gets worse, we need to bring him to the hospital."

Sunghoon bit his lip. "Just, make him better. I need to fix myself too." The male said before lying down. It was a hassle for them to keep Sunoo to themselves instead of killing him off. But nothing can be done as they were obsessed with Sunoo. "By the way Jay wants you to go help him to renovate his house, you need to go since I have a work shift tomorrow. Come back in time to watch Sunoo."

Sunghoon was annoyed. He was really tired and exhausted and just wanted to sleep forever. But he thinks about Ni-Ki and his fucked up life. Yup, better to be alive for a while. He's still young. Sunghoon closed his eyes to sleep as Ni-Ki left, closing the door behind him. Ni-Ki grabbed the small portion of porridge and the medications for Sunoo.

He went to Sunoo's room to see that he was still sleeping. His lips were slightly apart as he was wrapped up, cuddling with the blanket. Ni-Ki placed the things on the small table and went to wake Sunoo up. "Wake up." Ni-Ki said as he shook the boy's arm. Sunoo was startled as he flinched and opened his eyes.

Ni-Ki took out the cough syrup as Sunoo sat up slowly, feeling pain rush throughout his entire body. "Eat this and then you can sleep again." He said bluntly. Ni-Ki only used a sweet voice when it came to manipulating. Sunoo's hands were shaky as he tried hard to finish up the whole thing. Ni-Ki sat down, holding the medication, just watching Sunoo eat.

"Spill it and I'll make you lick it off the floor."

Ni-Ki's tone sounded like a warning. It was really pressuring for Sunoo now as he couldn't eat peacefully. His stomach was growling as he felt sick. He then thought that Ni-Ki was right. To avoid him being sick again, the boy needed to keep his meals down and not throw up all the time. Sunoo finished the last spoon of porridge before handing it to Ni-Ki.

Ni-Ki gave him three painkiller pills. Sunoo held them and ate one by one, gulping them down with water. "You can eat three pills every time you feel like you want to throw up. The male then handed him a cup of purple liquid that was filled to the brim. "What's t-this ?" Sunoo asked, holding the tiny cup in his hand.

"Cough syrup. Also drink more water, your throat needs to heal from what may be a harsh cut from all the coughing." Sunoo nodded as he drank from the plastic bottle to wash away the bitter taste of medicine. He hated it. "You better hurry up and get better so you can go back to the basement."

Sunoo kept quiet before stopping Ni-Ki from leaving the room. "C-can I have a book ? It d-doesn't matter even if I-I had read it before..." Ni-Ki shook his head, glaring at the boy. "Sleep and rest." Sunoo sniffled, pouting as Ni-Ki slammed the door shut, locking it. Sunoo laid back down as he yawned. Maybe he needed to sleep.

The boy wrapped himself in the blanket and tried to stay warm as it was cold. Sunoo was now preparing to be awake every hour, disturbed by coughs and throwing up fits. The painkillers helped him for a while but not really. He was hoping Sunghoon and Ni-Ki weren't in a bad mood the next day because he couldn't take in anymore physical and mental beatings as it hurted so much.

Sunoo was expecting Ni-Ki to come in but it was Sunghoon this time, holding a bowl of porridge. Sunoo reached out for it as he was really hungry. He did wake up every hour due to coughing fits but for the first time he did not throw up. Before Sunghoon handed him the bowl, he pulled it back making Sunoo whine. "Ni-Ki said you have been really ungrateful. You should thank us for even giving you better food and medication."

Sunghoon growled. Sunoo placed his arms on his thighs as he was annoyed with this. "I am grateful, thank you. Thank you so much." Sunoo said. Sunghoon was not sure if it was meant to be sarcastic or if he did really mean it. The male rolled his eyes before shoving the bowl in Sunoo's arms.

The boy quickly picked up the spoon and started eating. Sunoo knew. He didn't need to be grateful. Food and care was needed by everyone to survive. Why should he thank them anyways ? Sunoo buried these thoughts as soon as he saw Sunghoon glaring at him as he sat in bed, eating.

again, i'm sorry for not updating </3
