Was torn off by an unfamiliar warmth

"Sunoo, go and dress up and come downstairs. Let's go out." The boy who was casually sipping on another juice box was confused. It had been a week and it had been pretty chill other than Sunoo getting a few slaps here and there but Ni-Ki would tell him it was his way of showing love. Sunghoon on the other hand had been encouraging Sunoo to drink a juice box everyday to gain some energy.

Somehow Sunoo was scared. He hadn't gone out since they took him to the house. He was scared. What if everything had changed ? Would he get to meet Jungwon ? Is anyone looking for him ?

Sunghoon helped Sunoo dress up and Ni-Ki went out the house first to make sure nobody was around and opened the car door. Sunoo was lifted into Sunghoon's arms as they ran into the car, immediately closing the door behind them. "Listen to me carefully okay ? I'm gonna tell you what to do and make sure you obey." Sunghoon said, placing Sunoo in the seat next to him.

Ni-Ki started the car and asked Sunghoon if he was driving and the older nodded. Sunghoon placed on a face mask on Sunoo and tied his hair properly. "Make sure you stick to one of us at all times and hold our hands okay ? We are going to go and buy some groceries so be a good boy and listen. We're bringing you out so you can get some air."

Sunoo shook his head as he felt scared. "What if I-I get lost-" Sunghoon shushed him as the car moved at a decent pace. "Not if you listen to us, really. We'll take good care of you."

Ni-Ki was annoyed.

He was mad.

What the hell is he doing right now ?

What made him do this ?

Sunghoon, he's sick.

Sunoo looked out the window as Sunghoon observed him. There was snow at the side of the road that

Ni-Ki had it. He was going to talk seriously with Sunghoon. They promised that Sunghoon would finish up his business so they would get back to normal. But this is utterly suspicious. The mall was quite empty since it's almost night time. Sunoo was looking down the entire time as he was shaking, holding Ni-Ki's hand.

Sunghoon had to calm Sunoo down multiple times since he was gripping onto his hand hard and visibly shaking. The older asked Ni-ki to grab the rest of the things while Sunghoon brought Sunoo to the pharmacy and bought a lot of bandages and medication. The pharmacist asked a lot of questions which annoyed Sunghoon but they managed to fake some excuse.

Sunoo felt like there were so many stares coming his way but in reality now Sunghoon was carrying the boy on his back as he cried slightly. "It'll be okay little one." Sunghoon said as he felt the boy calmed down. Sunoo really hated being outside now. After they met up with Ni-Ki, Sunghoon passed the boy to him as he went to load the groceries into the car first.

Ni-Ki had asked Sunghoon about the plan but the male ignored him from the way here 'till now. "N-Ni-Ki ?" The male hummed. "T-toilet, please ?" Ni-Ki sighed as he placed Sunoo down and held his hand and texted Sunghoon as they went to the bathroom.

"This has to end now."

Ni-Ki mumbled as he walked with Sunoo. He decided to have a sweet talk with him before deciding on his decision. "Are you tired ? Right, you didn't walk much in the house. Don't worry. You'll get home soon." Ni-Ki pushed Sunoo in the bathroom after insisting he waited outside since Sunoo wanted to drag him into the stall, fearing something would happen.

The male quickly got to business and called a certain person.

"Jungwon ? Where are you ?"

/ I'm at the back. Just so you know, I'm not letting this go. /

"You can ask Sunoo whatever you want, I'll make sure Sunghoon stays away from you these two days. You can make Sunoo stay or leave with us."

/ I will report to the police, Ni-Ki. What makes you think I won't ?" /

"We'll still be freed, you know, depending on how Sunoo decides the story."

Ni-Ki heard the loud flushing sound and Sunoo's tiny scream from being startled by the loud flush sound.

"He's coming, wait there. I'll send him to you quickly."

Ni-Ki hung up and texted Sunghoon saying that Sunoo made a little mess and had to clean up. Sunghoon, on the other hand, was leaning his forehead against the steering wheel as he laughed out loud. Ni-Ki was being so obvious yet he was letting this go. It wouldn't be that fun if he came out now.

Jungwon could be seen standing at the back of the building with Sunghoon's car parked quite far. But his eyesight was sharp. Ni-Ki slung his backpack onto Sunoo which he had packed with a few things before leaving. "Listen to me, you are going to leave with another person and listen to them carefully. Talk with them. You can come back whenever you want. Just let them know."

Ni-Ki whispered as he smiled. Sunoo drowned. "Why ?" His eyes were teary. He didn't want to be given to another stranger. "You'll know why later. But for now, run. Run for your life. Try not to come back, Sunoo. But that's not my decision to make, it's yours."

Sunoo was dumbfounded as tears flew down his face. He was finally free to go ? He hugged Ni-Ki tightly before a dark figure wearing all black took him.

"Take care."

Ni-Ki ran to the car, ready for what Sunghoon was about to ask. Surprisingly, Sunghoon just drove back home, silently. "You knew didn't you ?" The male mumbled as Sunghoon smiled. "You were too obvious." He said bluntly. "But, you did me a favor I suppose. I need to get my mind sorted out. But if something gets out of hand, I'll get you first. Remember your place Ni-Ki."

"Things getting out of hand ? Why's that ?" Sunghoon laughed as he looked at Ni-Ki, stopping at a traffic light.

"If Sunoo doesn't love me anymore, I'll do whatever it takes to take him back. I lost him for almost 3 years, yet he didn't even recognise me when he saw me." Sunghoon laughed crazily, scaring the shtit out of Ni-Ki. "YOU FUCKER ! YOU DROPPED YOUR MEDS DIDN'T YOU ?!" Ni-Ki yelled as he was frustrated and afraid. "So what if I don't take them ? They didn't help me at all."

For the first time, Ni-Ki was afraid. Sunghoon was back to the way he was.

And this time, it will be impossible to cure him or stop him.

Ni-Ki was in between life and death.

His eyes were shaky as Sunghoon drived fast. He was scared. He didn't want Sunghoon to be like this anymore.
