Why?

Chapter nine

Aunt Risa woke us all up in the middle of the night. Surprisingly she was carrying a suitcase and was not wearing pyjamas. " Sorry for waking you guys up but I have an announcement.".

" What is it ?" we all said as we were tired.

" In about two hours time I'm going to Brazil, my team and I are working on a project so that's why I'm going."

I have to follow her , so I get to see what she is really doing and then I stop her. So after she was done talking , they all went to sleep and I secretly went to Marcus's house.

I got there and I threw a small stone on his window . Failed then second attempt then he went out the window and saw me . I called him , to come downstairs , then he came.

" Why did you call me up soo late , it like 12:50 ." He said.
" Aunt , Risa is going somewhere I have to follow her."
" You can't go all alone , follow me ."

He took me to a house and knocked the door. " Marcus , why you here dude it late, is everything ok at home?" Andrea asked.

" Ya , it is we just need your back up."
"Oh."
We all went to the tunnel and Andrea bought some equipment.
" So are guys really sure about this?"
Andrea said.
" Yes we're really sure." I replied back. Andrea put a tracker on me , an ear piece and a hidden camera on my necklace.

" Ok , done be careful ok , and don't forget this."Andrea said , I could feel as if he really cared about me . He gave me a tasser , something I have never used before .

I hugged Marcus ," if I don't come back I was glad to met a person like you." I said.
He cried,and replied"be safe ok."

" I won't forget you and Beth." I said.
I went and I left him and Andrea.

I got home , aunt Risa was almost outside , her car door was open so I entered and I hid inside the boot.
She got in the car but her luggage at the back sit. She drove for a long time for like three hours , I was soo tired but I didn't want to miss the opportunity of saving my parents. So I held my breath so I could keep myself awake.

She stopped and went out , I waited for about two minutes and then got out the boot and went out the car. I just saw a really tall building in the middle of nowhere.

I ran quickly to the entrance and yes the security was tight. They were carrying big guns wearing bullet proof vests , my heart pounding and I'm thinking what am I doing, am I trying to kill myself these guys are carrying guns.

One of the security guards was distracted by a delivery man , and fought with him he almost chased him out I quickly entered and hid in a small corner.

There she was aunt Risa talking on the phone , I heard her talk about a certain code." Wait are they done, can I come boss?" she said.

I followed her , she used the lift. So I lost her again. The lift went and someone else entered , it was a woman with a black lab coat, with red heels and a weird smile.

" Child , what are you doing here you are not supposed to be here, or are you one of Yolanda's kids, we told her she can't bring kids anymore."she said.

"Wait let me take you to Risa because she will take you home alright."

We came out and she took me to a room , where aunt Risa was , she didn't notice me the room was big.

" Here you go sweety that woman there with a grey sweater go to her and tell her you need a ride home , she will eventually know, bye."

She left the room , and i hid behind a big cabinet. Is that a .....

It looks like a corps. It looked like an animal a bear or something, I wasn't sure but I didn't touch it.
" Julia , can you her me ...can you... please tell me you're ok..." a voice said. It was the ear piece Marcus was speaking.
" Um okay , I'm just next to something weird , I got in anyways so what should I do?"

Back at so called home, Marcus was with Beth an Andrea , the were searching for signal to search for the place .

I was still hiding and yes it was smelling , aunt Risa went out the room and I followed her, she walked soo fast until she was in the corridor and pressed a button in the fire extinguisher and a huge door opened.

She entered the room , I also entered before it could close. My parents , I could see them they were wearing lab coats and they had some wieeird things on their necks . I cried quietly as they were working it looked like they were suffering. I won't let them be like this. Behind them was a big animal bear like, but it had human features . Aunt Risa was looking at it she looked happy and continued smiling.

" I hear you still look pretty as you were darling."
" Oh I still look lavishing ."Aunt Risa replied.
It was Norman her husband . They hugged for a long time then be kissed her on the cheek and they laughed.

" How's home sweety?"

" It's good , that Sparks kid is a problem she's like a detective or a parasite that can't stop asking questions , but don't worry besides that she is clueless as usual she doesn't even remember Nathaniel."
They also took Nathaniel , he's my brother I was told he was away in Australia for work .
"Good to see things are well at home." He said.

" Well when are you coming we all miss you?"

" I might come even today."He said.

"Oh Norman I can't keep falling for that excuse the kids need their father."Aunt Risa said.

" No I really mean it this time , we're going together."

" Here is the final product of what we've been working for , for years."Norman said.

He opened a cage and that bear like animal came out , he shot the animal and it didn't die he created an immortal.

" So now that we are done the Sparks are no use to us we can kill them." Aunt Risa said.

They can't kill my parents. Norman injected something on himself and aunt Risa and they there turning into different colours until finally the were normal .Norman shot himself but he didn't die , so it means both of them are immortal.

" Marcus , Marcus I need you now "I said whispering.

" What wrong?" he said.

" They're immortals ."

" Ok we're coming to fetch you so find a way out."

At that time , it was afternoon. I went out the door quietly , and used the lift this time no one was there I pressed level one and it took me there. The lift stopped and a lot of people where there.

" Happy birthday to you , happy birthday to you , happy birthday to Anna." People sang , even the guards where there so it was going to take a long time for me to come out. When they were done singing , I quickly ran to the door and people looked confused.
