We went back to Valedale. Lisa hugged me and the other girls as we arrived. Elisabeth was more than happy to see that we succeeded but my thoughts were still on Ydris.
"I'm glad you all came back unhurt! We won't have a meeting today, but tomorrow at 9am we will discuss our next steps to save Anne. I will give Concorde a special place in the stables. See you on time tomorrow" Elisabeth stated and left. Then everyone else said their goodbyes and I went back to [H/N]
"Good that everything is settled now. Hey what's with that sad face?" He/she said.
"I.. I need to go back"
"What?! Why would you do that? Ydris betrayed us. I told you from the start that you should be careful around him!" I gave him/her an annoyed look. I didn't want to hear any lessons from [H/N] right now.
"That's not the point. I feel like.. this was a misunderstanding." I said. [H/N] snorted.
"Don't listen to your heart [Y/N], listen to your brain! He is dangerous and you witnessed it. He turned you into a horse!!"
"Yeah but he saved us from Garnok, we have the same enemy! So are you gonna take me there?" I argued and [H/N] stomped on the ground.
"What? Of course not!"
"Fine, I will walk then." I said angryly and turned around. As I was about to leave the stables [H/N] called me.
"Wait! Fine I'll do it... But just so you won't go there alone. Someone's gotta watch out for you."
-Ydris's POV-
After the group left he could take his guard down. He felt awful. His anger left and the sadness took over him. If she has always been a spy then why did she go so far? He was still mad at himself for falling for this human but it was too late now. His feelings for her won't ever stop and he felt like they only grew stronger. Despite knowing that she probably never liked him he still wanted her back. But will he ever see her again? The thought of never being with her again made him feel cold and sick.
All of a sudden he heard a noise and turned around. Was that [Y/N]? His eyes widened. What does she want? He got his hopes up but if she was a spy it can't be that good.
"Why are you here?" He asked carefully.
"Ydris.." she slowly approached him. "I don't know why you did the stuff you did but I think it is all a misunderstanding... can we talk?" He just nodded.
"First of all... I want you to know that I am not a spy. All of this was real. My feelings, the kiss... I wanted that. They told me to spy on you just 2 days ago." The heavy weight on Ydris's chest finally lifted. She actually always liked him. His lips formed a big smile. "But why. Why did you have Concorde?" He sighed
"I found him and sensed that he was special, could do things other foals can't. So I took him in to use him for my show. I wanted it to be special, to be a surprise that can make you smile. But it was the opposite of it." Ydris took both of her hands in his. "When I found out that you were a spy, who despises my home, my heart broke and my anger took over me and I let it all out. I'm so sorry for what I have done to you and I am glad that you are fine." [Y/N] let go of his hands and she had a soft smile on her face, it was something Ydris longed to see. But it soon turned serious.
"You said you wanna destroy our world." she said.
"Hah" he let out a dry laugh and stepped back. "Maybe that was my plan... but there is no hope for Pandoria anymore.." He looked deep into her eyes. "But with you in this world my beautiful [Y/N] there is no way I would ever destroy it. Not as long as you are here. You are more important to me than my home." [Y/N]s eyes sparkled.
-[Y/N]s POV-
"Funny how we are together and I barely even know you.." Ydris said.
"You're the one to talk! You aren't even from this world!" We both giggled. "But I guess I also have some explaining to do." I knew I could trust him now so I told him all about the soulriders. "We both have Garnok as our enemy..." I said at the end of my explanation. Ydris nodded.
"Yes you are right" he replied. Suddenly he pulled me into a thight hug which made my heart beat faster. "I am sorry that I ever doubted you. I am glad you didn't give up on me and came flying back after what I have done and I am more than happy that you will be by my side again."
"I am glad that we made up as well. No more secrets." I said and there was silence for a moment.
"[Y/N]..." Ydris whispered in a wimpering tone. "I was so scared that I lost you forever" he continued. I stroked his back to reassure him that everything is fine. "I love you [Y/N] please never leave me."
"Ydris.." I wasn't sure if I was ready to say those words so I pulled him closer into a kiss. I was filled with euphoria. Ydris made me feel happy again. Both our dreams got fullfilled once more. The kiss grew more passionate and instead of a room full of candles it felt like a whole firework. And I wished for the things to stay like they were right now. But will they?
