I left the circus with a grin on my face. The sun already set and it was starting to get dark.
"And? How did it go?" [H/N] asked.
"I was right! We are on the same side. Ydris and I are together again." I proudly said but [H/N] just rolled his/her eyes.
"If you think so.. Still be careful." I was disappointed that [H/N] didn't share my joy but at least he/she didn't say anything against it. I got on my horse's back and rode off. A bit after Moorland, after Jasper's old house, I saw my ex AGAIN. This was starting to get annoying. I haven't seen him in a long time and now I see him all the time. I just wanted to ignore him.
"Hey [Y/N]!" he shouted. I groaned.
"Why are you roaming around here all the time?"
"Am I not allowed to leave my house? Come on [Y/N]." he responded. I just rolled my eyes. "How are things with the ringmaster?" he asked.
"Jeez why do you always ask about him? Keep yourself out of my business! Your jealousy act isn't gonna do anything, it never did."
"Jealousy? I am worried for you, I just don't trust him." I laughed. I didn't buy that he wasn't jealous.
"I can look out for myself Jonathan. Goodnight." I picked up speed and went into the direction of Valedale.
"Come on! Let's talk a bit more." I heard him shout but I didn't stop. I'm done with his shit. I just don't wanna talk to him. Also I wanted to get home before it was pitch black outside.
-The next day-
I got up at 8am so I could get ready for the meeting. I wondered what the next step will be. Are we gonna save Anne now? After I ate breakfast I put on a shirt and jeans and went to the stone circle.
"Like we all know, we finally got Concorde and we are now ready to go to Pandoria to save Anne. This will be a very important quest and I want Linda, Alex, Lisa and [Y/N] all to go to Pandoria and get our friend back." Elisabeth said. We all nodded. "I want you and your horses to be well rested for the rescue, so save your energy for tomorrow. We are going to meet at 2pm at the portal." She said and with that the meeting ended. I guess I have to quit my jobs for today and tomorrow. Wait today is a show! I have to tell Ydris that I can't perform today.
I went down to the stables and got onto [H/N]s back and told her about tomorrow.
"Jeez to Pandoria again? But since we are gonna save Anne, this will probably be the last time." [H/N] said. "Wait why are you on my back, where do you wanna go?"
"I need to go to the circus."
"What again? Elisabeth told you to rest today!"
"Yes but I need to cancel todays show!"
"Ugh fine."
We went to Nilmers Highland and stopped in front off the circus.
"But make it quick okay?" [H/N] said and I agreed even though I would like to stay longer.
"Ydris" I said when entering the tent.
"My dove, lovely to see you. You are a bit early, are you planning on spending time with me?" he grinned.
"No uh sorry. I won't perform today." Ydris went serious with a hint of worry. "I just won't be here today, but in two days I will!"
"What's the reason for that my dear?" his eyebrow raised.
"Tomorrow I will save Anne... in Pandoria." I looked up to Ydris to see his reaction.
"You can't do that! It's way too dangerous!" I was a bit surprised by his response.
"But.. but I have to. She has been trapped for months, I don't even wanna know how bad she is feeling."
"You can't! No one is save from Garnok! Look at me!" he argued. But I have no other choice.
"I can do what I want!" I responded. Ydris forcefully gripped my arm.
"Do you really want to though? Do you really want to risk your life for someone you don't know?" I didn't want to answer that. I didn't want to think about it. I kept quiet for a second and looked away.
"It's my duty as a soul rider. I don't have a choice." I quietly responded. Also Ydris's voice lowered it's volume.
"I cant let you go, I've been there, it's way too dangerous." He looked worried and sad.
"Well this is just part of my life and if you really wanna date me you have to accept that!" I loosened my arm from his grip with a rapid movement and turned around. There was no point in arguing.
"[Y/N]..." he said as I made my way to the exit.
"See you in two days."
I made my way over to [H/N] with a soft smile. I didn't want him/her to know that me and Ydris had a disagreement.
"Okay everything is settled, let's go home"
