The bell rings and everyone begins heading towards their second class. “Roman, have you seen Frexien? He didn’t show up to class.” Sora asks Roman during their walk towards Swordsmanship class.

“I got a glimpse of him heading to the rooftop but I haven’t seen him since.” Roman tells Sora. “Don’t worry too much about him. Remember the school has a magic spell around it that keeps the students safe.”

“Wow I’m surprised that you know that.” Sora said, sounding a bit astounded.

“Heeey I’m not actually an idiot you know!” Roman looks at Sora a bit annoyed.

-BACK ON THE ROOFTOP-

Frexien still holding the sleeping Sophie looks around the garden. On a building not too far from the one Frexien is on a hooded man watches him. The hooded man begins to walk over to where Frexien is. He reaches the edge of the building but continues to walk across as if there was an invisible bridge there. Frexien begins to shiver as he feels something strange heading towards him. He slowly nudges Sophie to try and wake her up.

“Sophie wake up.” Frexien tells her with a soft voice. She looks up at him with sleepy eyes and blinks a few times. Frexien blushes a bit as he begins getting up. She crawls backwards a bit then holds herself up with one arm while she rubs her eyes a bit.

“Huh? What’s going on?” Sophie asks Frexien in a high, soft voice. He looks down to her, still blushing, and puts out his hand to help her up.

“We should head inside now. We might get into more trouble if we stay here longer.” Frexien says softly, completely avoiding the fact that he feels something is wrong. He thinks to himself. “I need to get her out of here as soon as possible. Something doesn’t feel right but I just can’t figure out what it is. It’s like light and darkness are fighting over control of something. Whatever it is, I don’t like it.” He looks at Sophie who is slowly gathering her things. She walks over to him and gives him an unsure smile. Frexien immediately realizes she feels a bit nervous and embarrassed.

“F..Frexien I…” Sophie gets cut off.

“Don’t worry about it. I… I need some time to think about things.” Frexien says quickly. They quietly walk back towards the roof entrance. Frexien stops just outside of the door after Sophie walks through.

“Is something wrong?” Sophie asks him.

“If I’m not down there in 10 minutes call for help.” Frexien says as he uses his telekinetic magic to shut the door and seal it shut. Sophie gets a worried expression on her face and rushes off to find help. Frexien turns towards the ledge of the building and walks over to it. The hooded man is in clear view now, still walking on the air towards where Frexien is. The hooded man reaches the ledge and stands on it, a few feet away from where Frexien is. Frexien stares at him blankly before saying anything.

“You here to try and kill me too?” Frexien questions the hooded man, who is turned towards the school not looking at Frexien.

“It’s taken us a few years, but we finally found you.” The hooded man says in a deep, cold voice. He turns to face Frexien. He removes his hood slowly to reveal his face. His skin was pale. He had pitch black hair that was well kept and was spiked towards the right. His eyes were really strange. His left eye was purely white while his right eye was all black. “We’re not trying to kill you. My partner is just an idiot and can’t tell the difference between retrieving someone and killing someone. Don’t worry about him though, I took care of it.” The strange man looked at Frexien with the same blank expression he was receiving from Frexien.
