Late Night Stroll

Hey there readers! Before getting into the chapter I’d like to just point out I have made some slight changes to the way I write these. Hope you enjoy it! I’ll also be updating more frequently so yay! (^_^)

Frexien wraps his arm around Karina as they sit down on one of the park benches. The night sky is clear and all the stars are fully visible. Even though it was fairly late there were still some people walking around the park, mostly couples.

“It seems we’re not alone tonight.” Frexien points out as he looks around. Karina looks up at Frexien and smiles a bit. She notices how the moonlight was making Frexien’s eyes a bit brighter than usual.

“This park is pretty popular for couples. None of that matters to me anyways, since I’m here with you.” Karina replies to Frexien with a slight blush. Frexien puts a big smile on. She shivers slightly from the cool breeze blowing calmly.

“Feeling a bit cold? Here take this.” He removes his jacket and places it over her shoulders. She lets out a low sigh of relief and smiles.

“Thank you.”

“Anything for you.”

Karina moves closer to Frexien and rests her head on his chest. Frexien in turn lowers his head slightly resting it on hers. A few minutes go by before either of them says anything.

“Hey Frexy can we go for a little walk?”

“Sure, do you have somewhere in mind?”

“Not really just kinda feel like wandering around for a bit.” Karina smiles at him.

“Well I have somewhere in mind okay. Follow me!” Frexien gives out a light chuckle as they both get up from the bench. Frexien grabs Karina’s hand and begins walking further into the park.

Around the park are multiple orbs of magic floating all around lighting up the paths of the park. There is many more floating over the fields. Frexien and Karina continue making their way into the park till they reach a thick wall of trees.

“So where’s this somewhere you had in mind? The park ends here and there really isn’t much?” Karina asks Frexien with a teasing voice. Frexien grins at her then points at the trees.

“It's actually past these trees. You see around two years back me, Sora, and Roman discovered this really awesome spot. We came here often and just relaxed. We decided to keep it a secret so we put up this barrier so that only people that we let through can get in. I don’t really know how no one has noticed that these trees weren’t here before but we’re glad that no one has” Frexien explains as he walks over to one of the trees and puts a hand to it. There’s a quick flash of light. He turns to look at Karina with a smile. “Alright close your eyes.”

“W-why?” Karina asks him nervously.

“Just trust me okay?” Frexien’s eyes light up a bright pink around the sides.

“O-okay.”

“And just to make sure you don’t peek” Frexien added, sounding a bit deviant. He conjures of a blind fold and wraps it around Karina’s eyes. “Alright, ready!” Frexien shouts as he guides her forward towards the trees.

They continue walking as they phase right through them as if they were merely holograms. Once they reach the other side they come to a large round clearing with a large pond in the middle and a decent sized island in the middle of that. Frexien continues to guide her towards the edge of the water.

“Alrighty hold my arm tightly okay?”

“Y-yea okay.” Karina replies still sounding a bit nervous.
