Fateful Clash
Frexien, Sora, and Zero reach magic field number 5 and join the other students who all seemed eager to start the class. Frexien feels some anger, the same anger that he felt from his previous class. He looked over in the direction he felt the anger coming from only to see the same spikey haired kid from that class glaring at him. Frexien just stared at him with a bored expression, and then looked away back towards Zero, and Sora ignoring him completely. He felt the spikey haired kid get madder.
"So what kind of teacher do you guys think we'll have here?" Frexien asked looking around not seeing their instructor anywhere.
"Dunno, but i hope he has a lot of magic moves to teach us." Zero said shrugging a bit.
"Is that all you want to learn. Just learning different moves. That’s not really a good thing ya'know" Sora told Zero in a mocking tone.
"All i want is moves. I want to be the one to learn them all!" Zero said with a triumphant voice.
“All them moves are gunna be useless without any skill to back them up. I’ll admit though having an infinite arsenal of moves would be great, but with no true knowledge of how to use them they wouldn’t really matter.” Frexien told Zero in a kind of lecture tone.
“What you trying to say Frexien huh!?” Zero asked Frexien in a jokingly angry voice.
“Ha-ha nothing don’t worry about it” Frexien shrugged.
“So where the hell is our teacher?” Sora asked sounding a bit annoyed.
“I don’t know but I’m really getting bored.” Zero said looking around at everyone else who seemed to be getting annoyed as well.
Just then there was a huge burst of winds coming from the direction of the trees. A massive light shined straight up out of the trees and then nothing. Everything and everyone was silent. They all stared in the direction where the wind and light were coming from. Frexien turned around and saw their teacher begin to appear from what seemed to be a black hole in the ground.
“Sorry I’m late everyone I had to go across town to pick up lunch.” A voice said from behind the class.
Some students, mainly the girls, screamed a bit. Frexien who was aware of this just observed the teacher. He took an interest in him from the way the teacher was dressed, the first teacher all day Frexien was actually pretty excited to meet. His eyes turned a bright yellow. He wore some long black pants with a purple trim at the bottom. His top had one long sleeve and one half sleeve. Also black with purple trim. He had a crescent moon emblem on the long sleeve. He had a black glove on the arm with half a sleeve. His boots looked like they were made out of metal and belonged on some armor. His hair was medium length, black with a silver streak going down one side.
“The names Shadow Rayne. Just call me Shadow if you’d like. I’ll be your magic instructor for the next two years. Yes that’s right, two years. Here at DP you have magic for two years then you have the choice of either staying or getting another class. The magic I’ll be teaching for the next month or so is the really basic stuff, like how to concentrate your magic to take shape, or how to simply levitate an object or make yourself invisible. After that I’ll be teaching you some really advanced stuff. When you leave this class in two years you’re going to leave stronger than you are now. MUCH stronger.” Shadow sensei finished.
Frexien’s face lit up. His eyes turned a bright yellow. He seemed more excited than Zero. He thought to himself “I can’t wait to start.”
“Shadow sensei, can you tell us what that burst of wind and light was before you showed up?” A nerdy voice from the back of the crowed said.
