Magic Café

Everyone heads towards the exit still laughing and joking around.  Frexien looks at everyone and asks. “So should we go to the same place?” He puts a smile on as everyone smiles back in agreement. As they all head down the street towards their favorite place other than the cherry blossom tree in the park Frexien and Neo both feel something strange close by and looks towards the other side of the street at one of the buildings. Zero notices it too, but not until a few seconds after Frexien.

“You feel it too Frexien?” Zero asks him.

“Yea but I’m the one that shoulda asked you that since I felt it first.” Frexien says to Zero jokingly. Zero smirks then goes back to focusing on the strange feeling.

“What are you guys talking about?” Kira asks them looking confused.

“Me and Zero felt something weird coming from that building rooftop.” Frexien looks at her and shrugs. “Zero, wanna go check it out?” He asks Zero who looks a bit annoyed. Frexien notices but leaves it alone for now.

“Yea sure, let’s go.” Zero replied. He seemed a bit unsure of going. They both look back at that area where they felt that weird presence and get confused looks on their faces.

“Or not? That’s weird, it went away.” Frexien said while turning his head to the side. Even Neo looked confused. Zero let out a small sigh of relief that no one but Frexien noticed. Frexien smiled a bit and thought to himself. “Guess it’s a good thing it did, I don’t think Zero wanted to actually go.” Neo, now in Frexien’s arms looked up and nodded at him. Frexien became even more confused and thought to himself again. “Did Neo just hear what I thought?” Again Neo nodded at him and Frexien chuckled a bit.

Well if nothing’s wrong then let’s keep going to the café.” Sora said over to them.

“Oh right, yea lets go. Sorry we held everyone up ha-ha.” Frexien laughed a bit, and Neo smiled, both their eyes glowing yellow.

“I’m glad he’s doing fine. I need to get back home and let everyone know right away.” A mysterious figure says looking down at Frexien from the roof of the building he was looking at. “It seems the master has found some good friends.” The figure adds on as it begins to fade in black and white flames.

“Finally we’re here!” Roman shouts out and runs towards the door almost knocking Nala to the ground. He stops, and then walks back towards her realizing that and apologizing. “Sorry Nala. I didn’t mean to almost make you fall over he-he.” He says to her sounding really apologetic.

“It’s ok, I know sometimes you can’t help it ha-ha.” Nala replies to him and gives him a gentle hug. Roman blushes a bit and hugs her back. Frexien smiled but felt a bit jealous at the same time. Lucky for him no one noticed except Neo who climbed up to his shoulder and cuddled his cheek with his head. He patted his head and smiled.

“Well let’s go in shall we?” Zero said while walking over to the door and opening it for everyone.

They all walked in to the Magic Café which is filled with all sorts of students using magic, and practicing new types of magic. All over the small town of Destiny Valley there are little café’s each themed with a different combat type. Some are themed with hand-to-hand combat, others with weapons. Frexien and his friends prefer the magic café because in their opinion it’s just all around more fun.

“Welcome back you guys. You want to head towards the usual table?” One of the waitresses, Ayami Light, greets them as usual at the entrance.

“Good to see you again Ayami. Yea we’ll be going to the usual table as always.” Zero quickly greets Ayami before anyone had time to answer. Frexien could feel Zero’s emotions towards Ayami, although it was pretty obvious that he liked her. Zero has been chasing after Ayami since the first day they met around three years ago. She’s turned him down each time saying that she doesn’t think that she’s good enough for him, but Zero hasn’t given up trying to convince her otherwise.
