I walk down to the cafeteria area after I'm done everything I had to do today. I walk over to the table with my friends and sit down.
"You ok y/n? You look confused" Alex says
"I'm fine" I say not wanting to bring up what I heard earlier that day
Amelia walks over and sits next to me looking all annoyed
"Today was horrible so far" Amelia says in an annoyed tone
"What happened?" Meredith asks
"Some stupid guy told me he likes me today and I told him I don't and he wouldn't take no as an answer and now he's going around telling everyone who I like!" She says angrily
"Oh wow that must suck" Izzie says
I just look at Amelia as she gets like really annoyed and she just looks so mad at what link did.
"Amelia.." I start saying
"What?" She says
"I heard your conversation with link earlier... I didn't mean to eavesdrop I just looked over and saw you guys arguing and I wanted to see what it was about but if will never happen again I promise" i say
"Wait you heard it all?" Amelia asks getting really nervous
"Well.. yea" i say
"I have to go..." Amelia says before getting up
"Amelia wait" i call after her as she leaves the room
"What's wrong?" Meredith asks "what is she so upset about"
"It's none of your business" i say before running after Amelia
"Amelia?" I say as I walk into the on call room and see her sitting on one of the beds with her head in her hands
She immediately pops up when she hears me
"What do you need y/n?" Amelia asks me and I can tell she is on the verge of crying so I just sit next to her and hug her
"I'm so sorry... you weren't meant to hear any of that" she says
"There's nothing to be sorry about Amelia" I say to her "I like you too.." you see her smile a bit and you also smile
