I go into the kitchen and then Meredith walks in soon after me and sits next to me.
"Hey y/n how you feeling?" She asks
"Oh I'm fine..." I say
"I can't believe Amelia would do that to you I'm so sorry..." she says
"It's not your fault Mer.. you didn't do anything." I say "I'm just not gonna talk to her unless it's something work related"
"Ok.. good luck y/n" she says before leaving the room to get ready
I decide to get ready for work and then I head out and go to the hospital. Im on Dr. Sloans service in plastics today but I'm not really talking to much I'm just staying silent all day... and he started to notice I was looking upset over something
"Hey you ok Dr. Harper?" He asks
"Yea I guess..." I say "can we just keep working?"
"Do you need someone to talk to?" He asks
"Yes please..." I say
"Ok come with me" he says and he brings me to a private room so I can talk to him "what's wrong?"
"Dr. Shepherd stood me up last night... we were supposed to go out for dinner but then I saw her asking Bailey if she could be on call last night and then she tried to say it wasn't true" I say trying to hold back the tears
"Oh I'm so sorry to hear that.." he says "knowing Amelia.. somebody or something probably got into her head she has some trust issues just.. give her a chance ok?"
I just nod "can we get back to work now?" I ask
"Yea sure" he says
