Am I Your Girlfriend?

Me and Amelia walk into work together the next day and I'm on her service so we walk to the residence lounge so I can put my stuff away and then the attendings so we can put hers away too. And then we begin working on her patients and there wasn't any awkwardness or hate between us anymore like there had been the past few days. It was more of kindness and romantic feelings with each other. We go to the cafeteria and she makes me sit with her and the attendings.

"Amelia I wanna go sit with Meredith and them" i say laughing

"No pleaseeee I want you to sit with me!" She makes puppy dog eyes

"Fine.. but I'm sitting with them tomorrow" I say

"Yay!" She says "let's go" and she drags me over to the attendings table and we sit down.

"Oh hi Dr. Harper" mark says "what brings you over here I thought you'd sit with the other residents"

"Amelia made me sit here" I say

"I didn't make you!" She says "your the one who said yes"

"You begged me Amelia" I say

"I'm sorry do you want to sit with them?" She asks "I'm sorry if you didn't wanna sit here"

"It's fine Amelia I was just messing with you chill" I say

"Are you two together?" Arizona asks

"No" I say

"Yea we're not" Amelia says

"Sure..." Callie says "well if you aren't you guys are perfect for each other"

I notice Amelia smile a bit. Everyone at the table is just talking about some hospital gossip and Amelia and I are just whispering things to each other and laughing.

"What are you two talking about?" Mark asks

"Uhh neuro stuff" Amelia lies

"You suck at lying" I say

"Well.. then you tell them what we were talking about why don't you!" She says

"We were talking about the second night I was here when we went out for drinks" I lie "it was so weird and funny that night"

"Oh ok" callie says and everyone just goes back to talking.

After we eat Amelia brings me into a room.

"Wha-" I begin but Amelia kisses me cutting me off which shocks me but I kiss her back. Amelia pulls away

"Sorry I've wanted to kiss you all day" she says "but I have a question..."

"What's wrong?" I ask her

"Am i your girlfriend?" She asks

I look at her for a second before answering "do you wanna be my girlfriend?" I ask her

"Uhh yes.. I really do" she says

"Then Amelia Shepherd will you be my girlfriend?" I ask her which makes her smile

"Y/n Harper of course I'll be your girlfriend.." she says

I kiss her and then a few seconds later we are still kissing and the door opens and Arizona and Callie are there.

"I knew it!" Arizona says which scares me and Amelia which causes us to pull away from each other

"God Arizona!" I say "you just gave me a f*cling heart attack!"

"Sorry!" She says

"Welll.. I guess you guys know the secret then?" Amelia says

"I've known the secret we're not stupid" callie says and you all laugh a bit

"Does anybody else know?" Arizona asks

"I think Meredith and Izzie know but.. I'm not sure yet" I say

"Do you want us to keep it a secret?" Arizona asks

"Uhh yea" me and Amelia both say

"Ok we will don't worry your secrets safe with us" callie says

"Thank you so much" Amelia says

"Of course what are friends for!" Arizona says
