hi icy gang 💕

A month, exactly a month went by without anything happening from P. It made the crew wary, he was too quiet and they had no clue if or what he was planning.

Still, they didn't get too comfortable with the temporary peace that they had. During that time, Mid's sole focus was on Lotus and rebuilding his shop, which was almost completed.

Santos kept his distance from everyone, still in fact devastated over the loss of his parents, but he checked in with Mid for any updates, now making it his top priority to avenge his parents deaths.

Clarence and Minnie tried many times to reach out and talk to Mid, however, he just wasn't ready to speak to them about what they had done. He didn't know if he could ever forgive them for playing and lying to him.

From the moment he went to live with them, his life had been a lie.

How could he have misjudged them so severely?

It was now starting to dawn on him, that Clarence only took him and Bambi in to retaliate against P, and not out of the kindness of his heart.

The more he thought about it, the more it started to piss him off all over again.

He knew it was best for him to keep his distance from them, fearing he would lash out — and he was trying to prevent that, for everyone's sake.

Mid walked into the bedroom, seeing that Lotus was still snuggled under the blanket. "Yeah, I promise once all this is over, I'll come get you. Right now, yo' safety is one of my main concerns. Just let me know if you need anything, a'ight?" he said, on the phone with Jaden.

"A'ight, I'll hit you later." he sat the bottle of water down on the dresser and ended the call. He put the phone down and crawled into bed, planting kisses on the side of Lotus's face.

"Wake up, I'm bored." he laid on top of her, he listened as she whined a little, frowning up her face. "Babyyyy, wake up man. It's the afternoon,"

"Leave me alone," she spoke in a raspy voice, pulling the blanket further up on her face. "I don't feel good,"

"What's wrong? You feel nauseous?" he asked her, she hummed, nodding her head. "You want your ginger ale? You still gotta eat something sweetheart, you haven't ate nothing all morning."

"I want an omelette, with spinach." she told him.

He lightly chuckled, "Okay, what else? Or is that all?" he questioned.

"And I want toast, wit' avocado. I want Raya to make it,"

"Dang, you sayin' I can't cook?" he laughed, getting up from the bed, he walked over to the curtains and pulled them back, letting sunlight into the room.

"I like Raya's omelettes."

"Okay, I'll be back wit' yo' ginger ale. Now can you please get up, ma'am?" he paused at the door, watching her stir around in the bed. She sat up and yawned, rubbing her eyes.

He walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him. As he walked down the hall, he saw Tiny headed towards her room.

Since the revelation about her and Santos, she kept to herself. He checked in with her every now and then, just to see how her mental was.

He made it clear to her that if she wanted to go be with her family, she was more than welcome to, and wasn't obligated to stay there with them.

However, Tiny assured him that she felt safe with them and wanted to keep her family out of harms way for as long as she could.
