Everything Is Falling Apart ( But At Least I Have You)

Slight manga spoliers (?). It's not explicit, and it's different from cannon, but I thought I should put a bit of a warning. 

Katsuki sat in his room, staring at the letter that Izuku had left him for far longer than he should have. He knew that he should have been rushing downstairs to find Aizawa. He knew that he should have been telling everyone so that they could mobilise to find Izuku and bring him back home. But Katsuki also knew his boyfriend, the letter was not left recently, Katsuki would bet that Izuku had left UA a mere hour or so after Katsuki had argued with him. He was long gone. 

Katsuki simply wanted to digest everything in the letter for himself before he was forced to confront the fact that Izuku had left him, left them, in order to keep them 'safe'. Safe is a relative term because Katsuki and his classmates were never safe, they were always in some sort of danger, whether they wanted it or not. Izuku had only succeeded in making everyone worry about him and ensuring that he got an ass beating when Katsuki found him, promptly followed by Katsuki verbalising his own feelings, of course. 

After roughly an hour, Katsuki finally stood up and made his way down to the common area, he needed to tell everyone, even if he had to expose his relationship to do so. The letter was addressed to Kastuki, so maybe Izuku snuck a letter to both Aizawa and All Might that didn't involve intimate details about their relationship, but Katsuki thought that he should probably tell the class, and the letter was going to be his evidence. With a heavy sigh, Katsuki opened his bedroom door and marched down the stairs to break the news of his boyfriend's idiocy to their friends.

When Katsuki arrived in the common room, only a few of his classmates still lingered. Those classmates being Tokoyami, Shoji, Kaminari, Yaoyorozu and Jiro (the last three all being sat extremely close on one of the sofas). 

"Oi, call everyone down, I've got something to say," Katsuki grumbled as he slouched into the room with a prominent scowl on his face. 

After a year of knowing Katsuki and adapting to his mannerisms, most of the class could read Katsuki's expression to some extent, so none of the occupants of the room argued upon seeing the look on Katsuki's face. He looked both distraught and enraged simultaneously. Yaoyorozu was quick to stumble to the kitchen to make an announcement over the dorm's intercom system. 

"Please can everyone come down to the lounge, Bakugo has an important announcement to make," Yaoyorozu announced. Within minutes every member of the class had congregated in the lounge area, staring up at Katsuki with curious eyes.

"Why did you call us all down here, Bakugo? Some of us were busy," Shinso grumbled with clear annoyance in his voice. Many other members of the class seemed to share his sentiment, looking at Katsuki with inquisitive eyes and raised brows. 

"I don't give a shit about what you were doing," Katsuki sneered, "The nerd decided to up and leave cause he thought he was putting us in 'too much danger', the fucking idiot." Katsuki waved the letter clenched in his hand as proof.

"Midoriya... left?" Todoroki asked with an inquisitive tilt of his head. 

"That's what I said, dipshit, look, I'll read what he said," Katsuki grumbled, he stopped waving the letter around and straightened it out so that he could read it. He wasn't very keen on handing it to anyone else given certain details. Katsuki cleared his throat and started reading, making sure to avoid areas that were too personal. "I'm really sorry, I know that when I come back or when you find me, you're going to shout at me until your throat is hoarse, but I have to do this. I don't want anyone else getting hurt for my sake again...I know that I'm going to be in trouble, but I don't care as long as everyone is safe. I know that you're not going to listen, but please don't come after me. I have to do this to keep everyone safe. They're after me, not anyone else...I can't tell you much, 'cause then you'll just race after me with everyone."
