Vaggie was not liking this new demon as each day went on in the hotel.
For one, she was hooked on Alastor who was not giving her even an ounce of attention. It was like a puppy that had been given food for the first time by someone and that person was Alastor.
Now, Alastor, was someone you couldn't quite tell what he was planning in that thick skull of his. Never were Charlie or her prepared for anything the deer demon sprung on them in the moment. However...
How had Alastor not lost his shit on this damn woman?
Vaggie would almost welcome it, that's how annoying this demon was getting.
Vaggie also could not for the afterlife of her understand the expression on Husks face, Husk was leaning on the counter, watching Alastor and Sedona having a exchange. Alastor looked very uncomfortable, and Sedona was getting rather close.
Like if she were trying to make a move on Alastor.
Husks face said uninterested, amused even.
Yet, his eyes...
Were full of blunt jealousy.
Husk's tail was swaying slowly back and forth, you could hear the end of it scrap across the wooden floor. His claws tapping the counter top, not exactly rapidly, just a slow, almost calculated tap.
Sedona went to touch Alastor and Vaggie was expecting a blood bath, she braced herself for the poor sinner to be ripped to bits and have to explain to Charlie that the demon didn't understand don't fucking touch Alastor.
However, Vaggie heard flapping of wings and Husk gracefully landed next to Al, taking his arm and pulling him smoothly away from Sedona.
Sedona's face cringed up like she just ate a lemon from Husks presence.
"Okay bitch, he's not going to tell you without killing you, so I will, he's not fucking close to interested, so please go the fuck on. If your not here for the hotel then breeze" Husk put that so flatly and boldly that only a true idiot would've not caught on the what he meant.
Sedona however was not a complete idiot.
Her eyebrows furrowed in anger and she hissed something in a language Vaggie didn't understand, however from the small snap of a reply from Husker, meant he knew exactly what she said and it did not sound nice.
With that Sedona quickly walked out, with a huff and glaring daggers into Husk before she slammed the front door behind her.
"Wooooww, Huskykins, that was hot" Angel said from the stair well, a hand on his hip as he had his signature smirk on his face.
Husk turned to Alastor, who was seeming slightly out of it.
"What on earth did she say to you?" Alastor asked after a moment, maybe the reason he looked out of it is cause he didn't understand what was said and he was desperately trying to figure out context, something.
Or...
It could be that Husk just flat out fixed his massive issue that he was not dealing with himself cause he didn't know how to apply the word 'no' and not end it with murder.
"Don't worry about it, she spoke in mandarin, she basically said 'fuck you'" Husk laughed, Vaggie actually sighed in deep relief.
"Well, now I can just say she left, rather that 'Alastor ripped her into pieces'" Vaggie was slightly happy the demon was gone, no need for her to be here if she wasn't going to be trying to redeem herself.
Instead it seemed she became consumed with this imaginary relationship with Alastor.
Speaking of relationships...
Vaggie and Angel watched silently as the cute scene in front of them played. Husker was reassuring Alastor that the 'vile demon' didn't touch him, or say anything about harming his person. Alastor was then pulling him into a real hug rather than his signature side hugs.
"Oh my gosh" Angel whispered, cooing at the moment.
"Charlie is gonna flip" Vaggie whispered back.
"Should we go?" Angel asked.
"We can hear you" Husk turned, giving them both a glare, yet it had little to no heat behind it.
He looked actually love struck behind that poor excuse of a glare.
When did this start? Vaggie pondered.
Did Vaggie mention Husk's arms were still wrapped snuggly around Alastor as he glared at them?
Yeah, Vaggie gave a evil smile, and quickly pulled her phone out, texting Charlie. Who was out of the hotel at the moment. She was going to die from ship overload by this.
Alastor could care less, right now he was warm and his head was swimming from the hug Husker was providing. For some reason, only Huskers touch made him feel so light and giddy.
Making him feel things he didn't understand.
Husk reluctantly pulled away, his heart throbbing when he heard the very small whine of protest from Alastor.
Either Alastor was over emotionally exhausted due to the female demon, or he was being extremely clingy. Husk didn't want to place in his mind that Alastor may actually...actually...
He could even make the sentence. Not even in his mind.
Vaggie and Angel watched the two look at each other like dorks in love, yet, it seemed neither of them realized this yet.
Oh, they didn't know how they felt toward each other yet.
Vaggie giggled at that thought, she was going to enjoy sweet payback by terrorizing the two.
Charlie was going to be much help with that as well.
Maybe things were going to get better.

Riot had cried to many tears, to many hiccups had escaped her lips as she laid curled in her bed.
Grieving over her lover as she clung to a locket that held the most precious moment the two shared in their after lives. When they went to a stupid party, and Riot confessed to Lily, telling her that she completed her. Lily was so happy that day, and she then whipped out a present she had been waiting on that was two ugly pull overs that she had made so they would match. Even though it was a ugly design on the pullover that she believe was supposed to be something along the lines of couples shared attire. It was so messed up it just made the moment even sweeter.
Yet, now Lily was gone. Torn to pieces by a demon that had yet to be found. Riot couldn't even come close to thinking of a suspect. Who would want to hurt lily? Lily was so well liked who would want to kill her? Why would they do this? To get back at Riot? Was this her fault?
The only way she could possibly find this person was by trying to find the locket that was obviously taken off her person when she died.
Lily please, Riot thought.
Help me find the fucker who did this to you...
Well, enough of this grieving, her boss was decent enough to let her have two days off after they both found lily in the bars alley way. Now, she had to go back to pretending she was okay when she absolutely wasn't.
Getting up out of the bed, the one that lily and her once shared, she slowly swung her legs one after the other off the bed and stood up. Her body didn't want to do this, she was exhausted.
She wobbled her way to her dresser to pull out one of Lily's old shirts and some black pants, almost following over in the process cause even though she took on the form of deer, she had no balance.
She lived in the upstairs apartment of the bar, perks of being the only person that would work in this dump of a bar.
Hey, moneys money.
And honestly? Lily and her used to tag team and enjoying serving the drunkards. Some were pleasant and some Riot had the pleasure of throwing out.
Now her team was destroyed.
She slowly made her way out the apartment and down the stairs. Not many people tonight she could see from the few tables being occupied and only one person at the bar itself.
Ah, a regular.
The Cat bird demon named Husk.
Now Husk was one of her personal favorites, he knew a lot more than meets the eye and he after a couple of conversations was quite hilarious when it came down to it. Sometimes if the bar was completely empty he would pull of a couple card tricks for her and Lily.
Did he know? About lily?
Probably not..
She sighed and went to man the bar, his eyes met hers before a frown of concern colored his features.
"You look like shit" Husk commented, she rolled her eyes.
"Thanks for noticing" she retorted.
"You alright?" He asked as she turned to grab the bourbon off the shelf, going ahead and handing the bottle, which is what he preferred.
"No" she answered honestly, knowing damn well lying would be pointless.
Another thing about this Demon is he could read anyone like a damn book.
"Where's the other one?" Husk asked, that made her freeze. She felt tears pricking her eyes, and she bit her lip to keep a sob in. Riot wasn't ready for this, not now.
Husk's ears went flat in realization.
"Oh..." Husk muttered, taking a long swig out of his bottle.
"S-she...was found two days ago...in the alleyway.." Riot was shaking, Husk swore loudly.
"Hey, if ya want I can keep the bastards away from the bar if you don't wanna exactly do your job" Husk offered.
Now, when the Cat and her became friends, was not something Riot could put to date. This demon came in here as long as she worked here and slowly they both became close...ish.
"Thank you" she mumbled, he nodded.
Husk could see she wasn't taking the death well, he knew that Lily was something along the lines of the girls lover. He didn't know why he was feeling so...generous, even sympathetic to her, but he knew how hard grief could hit someone.
He's been there.
Silence followed after that, she would give him a new bottle each time he ran out and he did indeed kept the other customers at bay. Only letting them get their drinks and then chase them off. It was appreciated by the other.
Once the bar was empty, Husk started asking questions.
"What happened...to her I mean" he asked, she took in a sharp inhale.
"They believe the demon that has been leaving random form corpses did it, I can't say I disagree with that...I just can't help but feel responsible" Riot admired, slamming her hand against the wall.
"You didn't kill her" Husk slurred, gesturing with bottle in hand in her direction.
"I know..but I should not have let her be alone, she went to help some lad-" she stopped mid sentence, her mind came to a screech like halt.
Wait...
WAIT.
THE FUCKING FEMALE DEMON SHE HAD NEVER SEEN IN HER DAMN LIFE!
SHE DID IT!
"Uh...who?" Husk asked, noticing the atmosphere change.
"Her...a demon I had never seen in this damn bar came in here, asking lily for help with something. That's the last time I saw Lily" she mumbled, not really answering Husk but actually herself.
"Ah, so now you have a face, what do you plan to do?" Husk was indeed drunk as a snuck, yes.
"I'm going to hunt her down...and tear that bitch to pieces"
