~Third person POV~

Secrets.

Everyone has them. Whether it be their deepest darkest fears, or that they snuck out late at night without permission. No matter what it is, everyone has at least one that they want to keep to themselves, not wanting anyone to know.

Tommy and Tubbo have one or two in common that they don't want anyone knowing. Both of the two had known each other for years, and had only recently started feeling things for each other that neither of them understood what.

Whether it be the slight flutter of butterflies they both get in their stomachs at the slight touch, or the light blush that covers their cheeks, heart rapidly beating when their eyes lock.

The adrenaline that one another got when both were talking and giggling late at night, trying their best to not wake the other members of the dsmp that lived in the same house they did. The happiness they had whilst chasing each other across flower fields, sun beaming down on their faces, illuminating the light against the brunette and the blonde's vibrating brown and blue eyes.

But that wasn't necessarily what they were focused on at this moment in time.

~Tommy's POV~

Butterflies, that's all I felt around him. The way his smile was enough to bright up a gloomy room. When he sticks his tongue out slightly when trying to concentrate. He was pretty much perfect. I could go on for a while about how he makes me feel, how pretty he is, even. But that's the thing, I'm a boy. Boys, me specifically, shouldn't feel things for their boy best friends. Well that's what my parents seem to think.

"-ommy? Tommy!"

I snapped back to reality with Tubbo clicking his fingers in front of my face. "Hm?" I looked at him confused. "You back to earth yet?" He asked, I raised an eyebrow and gazed around the room. All the other members were sitting down at the dinner table all caught up in a conversation. "S-sorry Tubs, I didn't mean to zone out." I chuckled awkwardly while rubbing the back of my neck.

~Tubbo's POV~

"S-sorry Tubs, I didn't mean to zone out."

Such a simple nickname yet so affective. I felt my cheeks heat up slightly. I looked up into his eyes and focused on the deep ocean blue orbs that caught my own. I stared into his, feeling flutters course through my stomach and up to my chest, causing my heart to beat even faster than it already was. I cleared my throat and finally took my eyes away from his. "Do you want to play minecraft with me while the others finish dinner?" I looked up to Tommy and smiled, "Sure, I'll go put the plates in the sink." I said while standing and grabbing his plate along with mine.

"No no, I can do it." Tommy grabbed both the plates as well, his slightly larger hands grasped around mine. The air I took in caught in my throat as I felt my cheeks heat up. I tilted my head somewhat and glanced into his eyes that were already looking at me. "I-i don't mind, seriously.." He stuttered a little. A small smile to made it's way to my face. A light layer of redness covered Tommy's cheeks. I frowned slightly, letting go of the plates as he was holding them and raised my hand up to his forehead. The action caused his breathing to pause.

"You feeling okay Toms? You're a little red.."

~Tommy's POV~

My hands wrapped around his smaller ones, warmness spreading to my cheeks. I looked up and saw his brunette eyes staring into mine. "I-i don't mind, seriously.." Curse my stutter. My nerves were all over the place because of a small action. Tubbo frowned slightly and let go of the plates. My grip on them tightened as his hand that was just recently closed under mine, made it's way up to my forehead.

"You feeling okay Toms? You're a little red.."

My breathing stopped a little. I took a deep breath before answering. "Why wouldn't I be?" I licked my bottom lip and encased them in between my front teeth. "Y-your a bit red, I was just making sure.." Now it was his turn to stutter. I released my lip and smiled at his concern. "I'm alright, Tubs. Now go set up minecraft, it's not going to play itself! I hope..that'd be a bit weird wouldn't you think?" I scrunched my face up, thinking about the possibility of minecraft playing itself.

My words made a giggle erupt from him, then a full cackle. Then that made me burst into my loud and annoying laugh. I gasped for air while placing the plates back on the table, trying to gain my footing as I sank to the floor with laughter. "Oh my- oh my god Tommy what made you thi-think of that?!" Tubbo, who was laughing even louder than me managed to spit out. "I do-don't know? But just i-imagine the thought a bunch of mini block characters walking around in their own! How awfully strange would that be?!" I took a gasp for air, standing up again while a few laughs came from my mouth.

"No clue whatsoever, but that was really funny I'll give you that." He said breathing heavily. During our little laugh about my stupid idea, we hadn't realized the group went completely silent. Tubbo and I looked at the rest of them, having bewildered expressions on their faces. "What the actual fuck was going through your mind before you said that?!" Wilbur finally said with a small but confusing smile. His tone of voice wasn't as nice as you'd think but I knew he didn't mean it that way. A couple nods went through the group.

"Like I said, I have no clue. Just imagine it though, that'd be so unreal!" I yet again said, picking up the plates yet again and walking over to the sink, placing them inside. The conversations from before slowly picked up again, not as loud as before but was a murmur none the less. "It's your turn to do the plates right Gogy?" I smirked at the nickname knowing he disliked it. He let a low sigh before answering. "Yes, child, it's my turn to do the plates."

Before I could protest against his words, Tubbo grabbed my hand a dragged me out the dining room door and into the hallway. "Thanks for dinner!" He yelled, running up the stairs and still holding my hand. I looked down at our connected hands. Once again feeling blood rushing to my cheeks. I huffed, the flutters in my stomach coursing through and up to my chest, my breathing becoming slightly heavier.

The feelings I get when he's around are so confusing and yet so warming.

It doesn't make sense, and that's what I don't like.
