~Tommy's POV~The rest of the roommates burst into laughter at my ear wrenching screams. "Holy shit Tubs! How the fuck are you so strong!" He continued to drag me around the bottom floor, just getting back to the living room when I asked. "I'm an ex-gymnast bitch, catch up will you?!" That erupted more laughter from the rest. "Alright, I get it! Just let me go!" Mid yell, his grip on me tightened, a second later he swung me across the floor and to the other side of the room.
My back crashed into the sharp corner of the wall, a loud bang emitting from the impact. I gasped at the shooting pain and feeling of skin ripping , swinging my arm around and gripping my back. Warm liquid dripped down my back, not being able to tell the difference of either blood or sweat. My breathes were short and sharp, struggling to get air in and letting out shaky exhales. Tears pricked at the corner of my eyes.
"Ouch.." My voice was croaking as I spoke, my breaths shuddering. My left arm was holding up the rest of my body as I lay on my side, my right arm clutched my back. I tried to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall, failing a little as one or two tears dripped from my eyes and down my cheeks. I sniffled and bought my hand up to my face a wiped the tears that were instantly replaced my new ones.
"Oh crap- Are you okay Toms?!" A panicked voice spoke, multiple footsteps getting closer. "Yup, perfectly fine." I tried my best to cover my face, but didn't go as planned when rough hands gripped my chin and pulled my face forward. I opened my eyes, my vision being blurry for a second. I shut my eyes again, clearing the tears down to my face. When I opened my eyes again, I was face to face with all of the roommates crowding around me, Wilbur being the one gripping my face.
The lack of space because of the crowd made my breathing go heavier, my eyes darting around for any possible escape. More tears cascaded down my cheeks, ignoring the pain in my back and sitting straight up. "Hey Tommy- Sunshine, don't move, you could hurt yourself more." I couldn't tell who was speaking, the noise sounding muffled, like my ears were filled with water. My heart was banging against my ribs, a sharp shooting pain raising in my chest.
The talking became louder as more hands were gripped around my wrists and such, trying to make me lay back down. I panicked even more, scrambling away from the figures that were blurred due to the salt water instantly replaced as soon as it dripped down my cheeks. Heavy, rigid breathing was all I could make out clearly, and recognizing it as my own noises. Sobs jolted my body, adding more to the trembling. I could feel my muscles tightening up as I backed into the corner of the room, avoiding as much pain as possible.
Chest pain, violent heart beats. Pins and needles fiddle around my limbs, due to the lack of air I was getting through to my lungs, it was difficult to do so. Numbness soon enough made its way to my fingers and toes, a tight feeling in my chest, ringing in my ears. Sweat was dripping down my forehead and resting above my top lip, cold flushes going through my skin.
I couldn't make it stop. No matter what I did. No matter how hard I tried to calm down and allow small breaths of air in, I couldn't. I was crowded around by the roommates, all of them witnessing me in my most vulnerable moment. I felt weak, small. My god, they'd laugh at me for this. Sucking in air only returned the horrid pains in my chest. Black dots covered my vision, forming into a black mist.
It was only a few seconds later when I felt my body go limp against the grey floorboards. My head thumping onto the hardwood ground. I had hardly any control of it. My eyes tugged shut, "Tommy. Stay awake for us kiddo." The voice sounded similar. I let out a groan and forced them open again. My eyesight was still gone, making me worry even more. Whimpering out of pain, more sweat, or even blood dripped down my back and caused a stinging sensation.
My eyelids begged for me to close them. The ringing in my ears growing louder and louder, furrowing my eyebrows in irritation. I shakily sighed.
It'll only be for a few minutes.
And so I let my eyes droop shut. The talking around me raised, panicked, before slowly subsiding into silence.
This is nice.
