~Not proofread~
~Eret's POV~

"But what? Are you scared, or worried about it?" I took Tubbo's chin into my hand, and tore his gaze away from the window and into my eyes. "It- it's the same gender, and I don't think he even likes me back.." I saw his eyes fill up with tears, sighing and shuffling closer to him. I pulled him into a warm hug, trying my best to comfort the brunette as he had just opened up to me. I felt pride rush through my body, happy that he could trust me enough to tell me.

"I'm proud of you, Tubbo. So so proud. Thank you for trusting me with this. But if I may ask, who is it?" We pulled away from the hug, tears running down his face and my hands holding his to stop them from shaking. "Please don't laugh if I tell you.." I noticed his look of plead. "Of course I won't bud, I would never.." He took a deep breath, shutting his eyes and gripping my hands tighter.

"It's Tommy.."

My eyes shot wide open at his admission. "Wait, what?! I thought you weren't comfortable with being shipped together?" I was confused before, but now I'm completely baffled. More sobs racked his body, violently jolting him forward every time. I realized my words didn't come out as kind as they meant to be. "Hey no, Tubs..I didn't mean it in a horrible way I'm just confused. Shh.." I spoke as softly as I could to not alarm or upset the boy anymore and pulled him into yet another hug. When I did, he gripped me tightly, sniffling into my grey shirt. "I-I'm sorry..I shouldn't of t-told you.."

It hit hard hearing him cry like this. "No Toby..It's good that you told me so I can help you. I'm just shocked, and slightly confused. You had always said to not ship you two because you didn't feel comfortable about it.." He raised his head from my shoulder and wiped his eyes before bringing his legs up to his chest and securing them tightly. "Tommy's always been the one to say not to ship us because we find it uncomfortable..It kinda hurt as I never got a say in it."

I sighed, "I'm sorry you never got a say in it. It does hurt to not have your own opinion about something." I agreed with him to hopefully make him feel better, actually telling the truth because it is. It doesn't feel nice to not have your own say in something that relates to yourself. He nodded, tucking his head into his knees. "Hey, Tubbo?" I cleared my throat. "Hm?" Still resting his head on his knees. "Just know, I support you 100%, and if you need to rant or just talk to me about this type of stuff, I won't tell anyone. I promise."

His sobs turned into sniffles, lifting his head up and looking me straight in the eyes. "P-pinky promise?" He held out his pinky. I 'awe'ed at the childish side he still has. Tubs huffed before tucking his hand back around his knees. "Okay, alright I pinky promise." I smiled at him, holding out my pinky. Tubbo rolled his eyes before doing the same and hooking ours. "And lock it in." He showed a toothy smile before locking our pinkies and thumbs together. "It's locked in, I won't break that promise dude." As I said that, he visibly frowned.

I raised a brow, "Something wrong?" I unlinked our hands and placed them at my sides. "Can we..possibly, test my pronouns?" He had a questionable look on his face. "Of course we can! Any reason where that came from?" I used a soft tone to not make the same thing happen as last time. "Everyone tends to use 'He/Him' a lot, and it sort of gets annoying sometimes. But I don't know why so I wanna try it." He placed his legs so he was crossing them and sat his body straight across from me.

I mirrored his body actions, clearing my throat. "This is my friend Toby, and I'm so proud of him." I made sure to check his facial expressions. It stayed pretty straight. "Eh, sounds normal. I don't mind it." I nodded. "Okay. This is my friend Toby, and I'm so proud of them." Yet again, I checked the facial expressions. The corner of his mouth raised a little, as well as his eyebrows. "I kinda liked that one..Can we try more?" I smiled at his excitement. "Great! This is my friend Toby, and I'm so proud of her." His face dropped a little.

"Not a fan of that one?" I asked, him shaking his head. "That's alright, do you want to try more of the second one?" He pursed his lips, seeming to be thinking. "Please can we?" I nodded at him. "This is Toby, their nickname is Tubbo!" He started smiling widely. "This is Toby, his nickname is Tubbo!" I grinned, using the same enthusiasm as before. "I like both of them." He was beaming with joy. It was a great sight to see after the events of before.

"So you like He/They?" "I do! But please, only use 'He/Him' around the others. I'll come out to them when I'm ready.." Their eyes were filled with happiness but worriedness. "I promise I won't. And maybe, you can study or search up the different sexualities so you know exactly what yours could be!" I gave them the idea so it could take up some time until the rest come back from the shops. "That sounds good, thank you so much Eret."

"Of course Tubs, I'm always here for you." I pulled him in for another embrace. They hugged back, more happier than when we started this conversation. "Welp, I'm going to go set up the other snacks we have lying around for the movie. I'll see you later, yeah?" I unwrapped my arms from around them and got up, walking over to the door. I turned around just as I was about to leave the room.

"Yeah I'll see you later." He got up as well, going over to Tommy's computer and sitting in his gaming chair. "Bye Eret!" "Bye Tubs!" I left the room and closed the door lightly. Hearing the clicking of a keyboard, I smiled in content and walked downstairs to sort out the rest of the food for the others.
