it was a perfect autumn evening the sun was close to setting and the weather was the perfect blend of warmness and coldness. all that was needed was a pair of (insert type of pants.) and a jacket. You recently came back from america after finishing college there and suddenly decided that you wanted Peyang Yakisoba. walking along the old worn out sidewalk you take a left turn leading to the Yakisoba store, you speed up the pace and walk in.
"Welcome!" a worker greeted, as you gave a small nod of acknowledgement.
Walking to the section where they sold the Peyang flavored Yakisoba, you see that theres only one left you reach for it and make contact with another hand.
"eh?" you muttered looking at the person trying to take it.
" ah looks like we both want this but there's only one left." a dark long haired boy says.
"Keisuke!!" your eyes widen.
" Y/N what are you doing here i thought you were in America!" he says hugging you tightly.
" im back i mean its been 4 years Keisuke!" you hug him back.
baji keisuke was your best friend and your crush during middle school and high school. When it was time for college you got a scholarship to a college in America. leaving your only friends baji, mikey, draken, chifuyu, mitsuya, and kazutora behind.
he buries his face into the crook of your neck, " i missed you so much how come you didnt contact us or at least me we thought you were dead or hated us." his words slightly muffled.
"my phone broke and i forgot your numbers" you answered slightly out of breath since you could not breathe.
" you promised you wouldnt leave me.." you hear his voice become softer as he lets go.
"im sorry Keisuke it all happened so quick now im here and im here for good!" you say with a closed eye smile.
" pinky promise?" he hold out his pinky.
"pinky promise" you say intertwining your pinky with his.
"now lets go and eat im hungry. we can split it like we always did." you say grabbing his hand and the last peyang yakisoba pack, making your way to the cash register.
" that will be 250 yen ($2.20) " the worker says with a polite smile on her face. digging in your wallet for the exact amount you feel his arm brush against yours handing the lady money.
"hey i was going to pay." you pout at him only earning a teasing smirk from him.
" when have i ever let you pay?" he says as you let out a little 'hmpf' grabbing the bag from the worker.
" have a good evening! thank you!" she says as you both walk out.

you and baji made it back to your place to cook the yakisoba. you both caught up on each others lives. turns out he owns a pet shop with chifuyu and kazutora. he also lives one level down from you. (you live in an apartment)
"one of the cats did not like kazutora so it pissed on his foot and kazutora got so pissed you shouldve seen his face" you and baji burst out laughing as he was telling you random stories that happened while you were gone.
" no way!" you said still giggling while putting the water into the yakisoba and adding the seasoning.
"yeah he still refuses to go near that cat" he says watching you finish the yakisoba. after finishing it you sit by him letting him eat one half.
"mmm sooo gooodddd" he groans quickly eating his half. you smile feeling all the old memories of you and him rush back along with old feelings.
"y/nnnn earth to y/n" you shake your head slighlty and look at him.
"something wrong?" he says handing your half of it.
" hm ah no just zoned out." you say starting to eat your half.
after you finished baji says, " come on im going to take you some where!" grabbing your hand and pulling you out the door.
"Let me at least lock it Keisuke!" he lets go so you can lock the door then proceeds to drag you to the stairs leading to outside.
" where are we going baji?" you ask once you see his motorcycle.
"youll see!" he says giving you a helmet and helping you up onto it. you wrap your arms around his waist as he starts it.
"you ready!" he says loudly over the sound of the motorcycle starting.
" yeah!!"
"hold on tight!" as he says that he grips the handles and it takes off. the familiar feeling of exhilaration and slight fear. taking in the scenery as you woosh past cars, building, trees, etc. The orange, browns and reds filled the streets as it was autumn. the sky was a blue fading into orange and a mix of pink.
after what seemed like 5 minutes you make it to a familiar place. it was the tree where you and baji first met. your heart was filled with happy emotions as you looked at the place. behind the cherry blossom tree there was a small lake filled with koi fish.
"you remembered..-" you said thinking he would have forgotten about it.
" ofc i did i visit this place almost everyday hoping i would find you sitting under it tossing bread to the fish." you both walk over to the tree and sit under it.
" i missed you keisuke. i missed this.." you say looking up at the sunset which was almost gone.
"hey y/n.." he says and you look over. you feel his hands cup the side of your face and his nose almost touches yours.
"can i kiss you.." he looks into your (e/c) eyes and you can see the red of his cheeks.
"y-ye-" he presses his lips against yours and kisses you deeply as if he was scared you were leaving again. you arms make their way to his shoulders and slip around to the back of his neck. he makes you sit on his lap facing him still kissing. breaking the kiss you catch your breath.
"ive been wanting to kiss you ever since middle school" he admits with his signature smirk.
"keisuke i-"
"would you do me the biggest favor and be my mine" his hands wrap around your waist.
"of course keisuke!" he smiles and pull you onto his chest hugging you and resting his chin on your head.
"i shouldve done that 5 years ago." he sighs.
"heh, yeah you should've kei" you chuckle.
" now your mine forever you know that right"
"pinky promise?" you say holding out your pinky.
"pinky promise" he intertwines his pinky with yours.
