"Takashi..?" You mumbled stepping in to the house, it looked like a homeless person lived there, papers were thrown everywhere and the two sibling were trying their best to clean up.
It's been hard for Mitsuya and especially you.
Ken Ryuguji, your brother and Mitsuyas best friend, was killed protecting Takemichi and Senju. You were mad at him for going back to the life of a delinquent, but you realized his reasons when is was too late. Your only relative was gone and taken by a fucker who you were glad was now dead.
"Hm? Oh hey" Mitsuya mutters as he sews Stiches into the dress not even paying attention. You could see his face from where you stood and you knew you found the Homeless man. He looked well.. not the most attractive.
"Y/n-San!" Runa runs up to you and jumps in your arms as Mana follows her lead grabbing onto your leg.
"Hey girls! I brought you both some treats and toys" you kiss Runas forehead as she hugs you tightly.
"Thank you y/n!!!" They both cheer as you hand them the things. You felt bad for them, Mitsuya hasn't been there for them as much as he used to so you took his place.
"you didn't need to." Mitsuya comments.
"I know but someone had to" you were tired, frustrated, and grieving. You just wanted your partner back, someone that would hold you and tell you that things will get easier. But you only had work to drown yourself in. So did he but the both of you were so deep in grief that it was blinding.
"I'm doing this for him. Stop taking it so personally." Was he fucking stupid-?
"He was my fucking brother Takashi! God it would've been easier for you if I was in his place." You were breaking down.

. Mana, Runa call me if you need anything" you held back tears but your voice shook as you spoke. They watched you sadly as you hurried out the house.
"oh y/n-San! Is Mitsuya home?" You heard Takemichi. But tears were streaming down your face as you nodded your head.
Chifuyu and Inui checked on you, the passing of your brother took a huge toll on you.
It felt as if you had no control over your life anymore. Mikey was gone you haven't heard from him in forever. The person you would vent to, laugh and fight with was dead with the love of his life.

y/n was buried in work, solving cases and going to crime scenes became harder to do as they days went by. But they were strong and tried their best to stay healthy and strong for others. But the black circles under their eyes gave it away that they were still struggling.
"Y/n?" A voice caught your attention as you were walking down the street from a late night case.
"Hm? Oh hi." You replied not even getting a good look at him. Mitsuya grabbed your arm and held your face you looked so tired and sad that it broke his heart.
"I'm sorry.. y/n please I didn't mean it"
"but it's true isn't it?... everyone would be happier" you refused to look at him in the eyes.
Everyone looked up to and loved your brother. But you? You were easily forgotten about not on purpose but you just happen to slip from people minds.
"Look at me." You forced your eyes to meet his. He looked better than the last time you saw him.

". If you had died I would've gone with you. So please believe me when I say that I love you." Maybe that's all you needed. Those words to come out of his mouth.
Your eyes swirled with tears before they fell on your face. You immediately hid your face in his chest crying. He as well began to tear up.
" Takashi... I love you too.."

"They finally did it!!" He cheered while his best friends arm was draped around his shoulder.
"What happened? Is that y/n and Mitsuya!" Another voice asks looking at scene below
"Go y/nn!!" Now a female voice cheers.
"Oi what's going on?"
"Look they finally are getting married!!"

Baji and Shinichiro jumped up and down as Draken smiled happily watching his sibling finally move on. Emma was cheering y/n on happy to see them finally get with the man of their dreams.
They had front row seats from above the clouds and watched down with happy smiles on their faces. Sad that they weren't able to be there psychically but happy to see everyone together.
Draken always wanted to be the one walking her down the isle but thankfully Mikey did it for him.
"You did it y/n this was your dream was it not?"
