i already told jayden we need to go back to la by sunday night. i mean she has the choice to stay here longer but i'm going back to la sunday night. i'm not trippin bout her staying i don't care i know she loves her family so i'm fine with her staying but if she's gonna be missing me crazy while here then she needs to come home with me. i was woken up by the sun shinning in my face through her window. i should've known by now that she sun always shines in through there in vegas. in vegas at the moment it's about 65 degrees out and partly cloudy. it's a pretty chilly day. i wanna take my beautiful girlfriend out for a nice walk before we have to take care of EJ all day. holly said she's ok with watching him for us. i have to text dylan about what we're writing a song about so we can get into the studio and record it on monday. her and jace are still in their group dj official but we're allowed to work with each other since we're signed to the same recording program. so that's what i'm doing right now while at the table eating breakfast with jayden. jayden's mom is feeding EJ while jayden is eating. i'm eating but i'm distracted by my phone. i can tell jayden isn't fucking with it.

"who the fuck are you texting?" jayden asked. woah. i looked at her with my eyebrows scrunched. why is she coming so aggressively?

"why are you cussing at me this early?" i asked looking confused

"because you've been on your phone all morning you didn't even wake me up with kisses like you always do" she said

"i'm sorry i've been busy discussing ideas with Dylan on our new song we have to record monday before i go to set" i said

"work is more important than me?" she asked

"no but if i get it out of the way i'll have time for you" i said

"you've been busy since yesterday and you know we didn't do what i was wanting to do yesterday because of you being busy with music" she said. she's talking about sex.

"is it some type of tradition to give you it every birthday of yours?" i asked. she rolled her eyes and sighed.

"forget it bro" she said softly. she got up and took EJ with her to her room. her mom came in the dining room with me.

"what happened this time?" holly asked with a slight smile

"your daughter is trippin ok? she's being dramatic for no reason just because i'm busy with my music career. she's acting like this is new. and she's mad that i didn't have sex with her for her birthday.. i would've but i had stuff to do and when i got back it was time to get on the flight. when we got here i was super tired because i woke up early to take care of EJ by myself and she's upset i didn't sleep with her for her birthday as if i wasn't tired." i said

"i guess jayden's needy for that type of love since you guys do it... god knows how much i don't need to know. but it was her birthday and i'm sure she just wanted your attention the whole day not just for a little bit." holly said

"but i have a career and i bought her hella stuff for her birthday a lot of expensive shit she wouldn't be buying herself. she's needy for everything. sex, attention, love, kisses, a lot of shit. but she gets pissed off one time i can't give her any???" i said with a little attitude

"talk to her" she said

"no." i said

"jules" she said

"no." i said. she sighed.

"how are you gonna fix things if you don't communicate?" she asked. i thought to myself. i realized i just shut down and am refusing to communicate. that's what ruined our relationship the last time.
