Chapter 9: Stuck

It's been months since Perth and I tutored each other. We would always meet after school and study for 2 hours then he would always offer me a ride to my dorm which I gladly agree everytime. We became more closer than ever that I wasn't shy around him anymore.

He is such a sweetheart and I didn't even think I would fall for him harder but I did. Seeing his face and talking to him everyday made my feelings even stronger. I never knew I would ever develop this kind of feelings for anyone, but I did and that's because of him. Hence, I do not regret anything that happened, instead I'm more than happy it all happened and wish it to never end.

" Saint! " I was pulled into reality when I heard my name comming from my tutor partner which is Perth.

" What's with the shouting Perth? " I asked. Everyday I am getting more comfortable with his presence, which I'm glad because I got to embarrass myself less.

" You were spacing out or daydreaming that's why. " He said while raising his perfect shaped eyebrow, half amused and confused.

We were at their cafe and tutoring each other like always. I didn't even realize I was spacing out. I just hope I wasn't staring at him like a lunatic like the other time.

" I'm sorry? I'm hungry. " Excuses, excuses Saint.

" You should've say so, what do you want to eat then? " Perth asked. See? Who wouldn't fall for this ball of kindness?!

I switched my gaze from him to the glass storages near the counter where the food was. I can feel him staring at me while waiting patiently, like always. I bravely meet his eyes again when I found what I'm craving for.

" I want a cupcake. " I said while giving him the cutest puppy eyes that I can pull that he once said that it was his weakness.

" Don't give me that look. " Perth said while rolling his eyes amusingly. I did not give up easily and tease him more.

He stared at me for minutes before sighing deeply and amusingly smiled at me which I returned with a smirk. I win.

" It won't make you full so I'm ordering a strawberry milkshake that you like too. " He said then got up to take my order and anything he wanted without even paying.

Since the time that we've been close he always spoiled and pampered me which I did not stop him from doing because I love it. He never lets me pay, it's always on him, that's the only time my puppy eyes won't work on him so I just let him do whatever he wants. We became this close that I felt like we were on a relationship, well I assumed we are but then again it's not right so I'll always erase those thoughts on my head.

He came back with my 3 cupcakes, a strawberry milkshake, a piece of vanilla cake and his frappe.

" Thank you so much! " I told him happily then started eating my cupcakes while he shake his head amusingly.

" After you finish your cupcakes and milkshake I'll take you to your dorm. " He said which made me look at my watch to check the time then I look up to him.

" Why? It haven't been an hour since we started " I asked him. I was surprised of the hint of sadness and confusion that came out of my voice. I think he also felt that because he looked up at me with a frown.
