'Midsummers part 1'

Skylar has only lived in Outer banks for about 3 months and already so much has happened! School starts back up in 2 weeks and Skyler was not exited...
"Sky! wake up we are leaving soon!" Her grandma yelled.
"Urghhhh!" Skylar did not want to go back to school shopping apart from all the new outfits she hated it because it reminded her she was soon going back to that hell hole, Skylar was going shopping with her grandma today and Sarah and Kiara tomorrow so she had a long time ahead of her, it's not that she hated shopping it's that she got bored, she fathered being outside. She got ready for the day and decided to go natural with no makeup she got into her outfit and left with her grandma:

After about 2 hours Skylar had all her stationary and books and about 5 new outfits, they stopped to get some lunch when her grandma ran into an d friend, who just so happened to be a model scout... she was very kind and complemented Skylar on her looks and offered her a job Skylar wasn't very interested in modelling unless it was for a surfing magazine but she knew Sarah would love the opportunity so she mentioned it to the lady who was very pleased with the idea, So she sent sarah a quick text :

Sarah
Hey girl so crazy thing when we were shopping my gram ran into an old friend who is a model scout i told her about you and showed her you instagram and she wants to meet with you to discuss a shoot she is having next week! for a magazine! You in?

What the actual heck yes of coarse i'm in!!!!! oh my god this is a dream!!! Yayayayaya thank you so much Skylar love you!

The meeting was organised for the next day so the girls couldn't go shopping but skylar didn't mind it just meant she could go for a surf.

Sarah ended up getting the job and flew to New York for the week! Skylar was so proud of her and knew she would do amazing, the rest of the pogues just enjoyed there lives freely before school. Fires and bbqs, surfing, fishing, boating they got an inflatable tube to tie on a rope behind the boat which was awesome! It was such a nice week without and stress in the world but then a bomb was dropped... midsummers.

Skylars grandparents were invited to midsummers as they worked at the club and to be kind after their recent loss and skylars moving in, she was not happy. A whole night with all the kooks pretending to be nice, Adleast Kiara would be there and Sarah got back just in time to it was suppose to be a celebration for the start of summer but because of the hurricane and whatever else they changed it to a celebration for school going back which Skylar really didn't understand. She wasn't happy and that's all that mattered.

The night of midsummers was one to remember skylar wore a lovely blue dress that complemented her well:

When Skylar arrived she got many compliments and she just smiled along fakely trying not to draw attention to herself when she saw Jj, he was obviously up to no good because when he saw her he took a double take as if not expecting to see her "Skylar wow you look amazing!" He said instantly "you don't look to bad yourself maybank but why are you here?" She asked suspiciously he looked at her "i might ask you the same thing princess" he says looking her up and down "i was invited and you..." she said raising an eyebrow "i was also invi- oh who am i kidding i snuck in okay i'm gate crashing" he explained "why would you Jj Maybank purposely go to a house full of kooks for fun?" she said wide eyes he just looked at her winked and walked away, confused Skylar kept walking around when she found kiara and Sarah they looked amazing the three dances for a bit and gossiped about the kooks dresses before trouble struck...

Fun fact Skylars dress is actually the dress i plan on wearing to my formal fingers crossed it happens because of covid😊
