Everyone woke up early to go for a surf as it was their last day of freedom, no one spoke about school because they hated the idea of going back. When the group arrived at the beach Skylar was the first one in the water her bikini was basically glowing through the waves whilst Jj just admired the view.

Sarah was finally feeling up to surfing again so Skylar stuck with her a little less far out but she still got some sick waves, when they arrived back to shore a lady was waiting for them, she seemed nice and put together but none of them had ever seen her before. Skylar politely smiled and said good morning before walking past her when she was stopped by the lady. "You looked amazing out there have you ever thought about going full pro?" "Oh thank you It's actually one of my dreams but i never really looked into it to far as i know it is a difficult career path." she said smiling then turning to walk away again, "wait i should properly introduce myself, my name is Ricky, i am the owner of a surfing magazine and i think you would look great on the cover of my next release!" she said smiling, Skylar could not believe it! Finally she was being recognised for something she was actually interested in, it felt like a dream! Skylar spoke to the lady for about 15 minutes before returning back to the pogues they looked at her confused waiting for her to explain, "i just got scouted to model in a surfing magazine and maybe attend the next local surfing comp!" Skylar said still not believing it. "that's amazing!" Sarah said hugging her, " i knew you were hot enough to be a model!" Jj said kissing her.
The pogues went to 'the wreck' to celebrate her accomplishment before Skylar texted her grandparents. The pogues went back to the chàeto and enjoyed Jj's hot tub and drank heaps of beers. They were just soaking up the last day of summer and enjoying each other's company.
Pope had the idea that they should set off fireworks, so Sarah and John B went to get them from Barry, because Sarah knew he was known for selling illegal objects. When they came back the pogues went onto the 'HMS Pogue' to light them on the water so no one knew it was them. "this is so sick, definitely one to remember!" Skylar said whilst they drove into the marsh. When they were at a good spot Skylar and Sarah set up the fireworks on a stand on the front of the boat whilst the pogues waited on the end, John B had the honours of lighting it before running back to the other pogues, The first one went off and flew into the sky, It was red and sparkly it was so beautiful, she held Jj's hand and wrapped around his bicep, feeling his muscles. "yep definitely worth all my savings!" Jj said smiling. The pogues were enjoying the last couple when Pope tried to walk over to Kiara, he tripped on the anchor rope causing the boat to jolt, sending the stand to fall... facing to pogues! The next firework went off facing straight at the group they all screamed and jumped into the water dogging the last explosives, when they resurfaced they were all laughing and Jj pulled Skylar onto him, she wrapped her legs around his waist and they kissed in the moonlight. Sarah splashed them "get a room!" causing them to smile, they all climbed back on the boat when one last mini firecracker went off, only it landed in the boat, and exploded causing all the pogues to fall backwards into the water, again!
When they were back at the chàeto all the girls raced to the shower but Kiara got it first, the group sat down and watched some movies before deciding it was time to go to bed, Skylar went back to her house and Jj went with her, she wasn't sure why Jj never stayed at home but it seemed like a sensitive topic so she never asked him about it.
At 7am her alarm went off, both the teens moaned grumpily before getting up. Skylar had a shower and got dressed into her first day of school outfit that she planned with the other girls:

When she came back into the room Jj was still in bed so she threw a pillow at him and jumped on top of him until he rolled onto the floor grumpily.
