Author POV

"Good morning!" Jungkook stood up on the bed, wobbling slightly at the uneven surface of the mattress.

"Shut up" Taehyung swiped a hand out, grabbing Jungkook's ankle and yanking him over.

Namjoon and Jin let out twin grunts of pain as Jungkook landed on them. Both baring their teeth in irritation. Jin even let out a snarling sound under his breath, if he was in his shifter form his tail would have been whipping back and forth in his annoyance.

Namjoon merely roled over and got out of the bed. Jimin was already up and downstairs having breakfast with his Dad and Rin.

Soon despite their irritation of being woken up by Jungkook, they trudged downstairs silently as they had been trained to do. Yawning and rubbing at their eyes.

"We need to go shopping. As much as I would prefer to leave you here to keep you safe. I cannot leave a bunch of children at the house." Jaymin sighed.

"What are we getting Dad?" Jimin asked. His legs swinging backwards and forwards where he was sitting in his chair. He shoveled a spoonful of cereal into his mouth after he spoke.

"We need to get them some clothes. Ones that fit them. They can't keep on borrowing your Jiminie. We might be able to pick up some toys if we have time." Jaymin tried to entice them with the promise of toys.

The shifters ignored him, as they rushed around the kitchen to make themselves breakfast so they could be the one to sit next to Jimin at the table. Namjoon won, proudly taking his seat beside Jimin at the table.

Once they Jaymin had rounded them all up and ensured they all had their shifter marks covered, they set off in the car to the closest shopping centre.

Jaymin had struggled to find a car to fit them all, having 7 children and one large lion shifter didn't help his situation. But eventually he had bought a small mini van, it was the only thing they sold that could fit them all securely. He was debating on whether to allow the children to paint the sides of the mini van, it was a very dull white at the moment.

"Right we are here. I want you to all hold eachothers hands. No and I repeat no wandering off. It is dangerous, someone could spot you or recognise you and take you back to the camps." Mentioning the camps made all of the shifters tense up, even Rin after 21 years still tensed up in fear at the mention of the camps.

But it drilled the severity of their actions should they not listen. Jaymin hated scaring them like this but it was better to keep them safe than naive.

They all got out Jimin latched onto his Dad's hand. They all formed a chain much like they had at the supermarket. Jaymin trekked them across the carpark. Rin watching closely for anyone suspicious, his tawny eyes as sharp as a predator on a hunt.

"Right so we need alot of clothing. We will head to this shop first. We may need to get you measured as we have no idea of your sizes." Jaymin directed them over to a shop selling a range of clothing that seemed to be suitable for children.

The children walked in a line behind him, he muttered apologies to other shoppers when they accidentally bumped into them as they tried to keep tight holds on eachothers hands.

The shifter's eyes lit up in delight at seeing all the bright colours around them as they entered the children's section of the shop.

"You can stay in this area, but you must stay in twos. Look after eachother. If you find something you like come and find me." Jaymin stated. The children nodded eagerly.

But they all looked to Jimin, waiting for him to choose where they would go. They may have been excited. But Jimin was their human, they knew that. They wanted to go where he wanted to go.

"Can I get a new jumper Dad?" Jimin looked up to his Dad giving him his best puppy dog eyes.

"Alright, but nothing too expensive." Jaymin sighed, pretending to look exasperated. Jimin grinned and grabbed Hoseok's hand, since he was the closest to him, and they headed towards the jumper section. The final 5 following as well, Jaymin and Rin following at a careful distance.

"Seen anything?" Jaymin looked down at Rin. The shifter's eyes briefly flickered off the store to look up at Jaymin. But then he shook his head slightly. No.

Jaymin took his eyes off Rin to look at the children as they pulled clothes off racks. That's going to make a mess.

"Hey, keep your kids in line" a shop worker calls out to him.

And he is ashamed to say he can see where they are coming from.

"You need to put back the clothes you don't want" he hears Jimin say. He demonstrates by putting back one of the clothing items that had fallen to the floor.

But it would seem the shop worker hadn't seen. Instead they stormed over, anger ingrained in their features.

"I told you to keep your kids in line" they all but snarl at Jaymin.

"They were starting to tidy up" Jaymin defends the confused kids coolly.

The shop worker, pays him no mind instead going to snatch the next piece of clothing in Jimin's hand, the one he was just about to put back on the rack.

Jimin lets out a small cry of shocked pain as the hook of the hanger catches and pulls harshly along the back of his hand. Splitting the skin, leaving a line  of blood in its wake.

This stirs something inside the shifters. Before Jaymin can react, the shifters already have. Immediately 6 piercing growls echo around the shop.

The worker falters, as they look down. Yoongi who is the closest, bares his teeth, that have begun to elongate. So that sharp fangs are on display. But before the worker can spot this Jaymin moves. Grabbing Yoongi by his waist and hoisting him up so that he is sitting on his hip. The boh struggles in his grasp.

That only leaves the other 5 who still have their teeth bared, circling around Jimin to protect him. Oh and the scared shop worker too. Jaymin sighed, it had been too much to ask for a peaceful shopping trip. Yoongi biting his shoulder brings him back to the present.
