"Good morning, Alyssa! Napadalaw ka."
Busy akong kumakain sa lamesa nang marinig ko si Mommy. My eyes widened and I received knowing stares from Mosh and Jus.
"Good morning po! Napadaan lang po, may pinapamigay na Suman ang Kuya ko galing Batangas."
Nagpatuloy ako sa pagkain and refused to bat even an eye on her talking with my Mom. Feeling close pa siya ngayon, as if naman!
"Pasok ka sa loob, nandun si Dennise sa sala."
I nearly choked on my food and quickly drank some water. Of all people na pwede papasukin, si Alyssa pa! What a great way to start my Saturday morning.
"Uy, si Ate..." Jus nudged and I showed her my fully annoyed face.
"Ate's sweet lover is here!" Mosh exclaimed high enough for Alyssa to hear.
"Good morning, babe! Good morning, Jus and Mosh!" Alyssa happily greeted us all in the table habang binababa sa kitchen counter ang dala niyang Suman.
"Ate Ly, bad mood ulit si Ate Den." Pangaasar ni Jus kaya pinangdilatan ko siya ng mata.
Alyssa took a seat beside me and I feel my face flushing red. I refused to look nor glance at her staring at me. Nasira kaagad ang mood ko ngayong umaga, and it's our day-off for God's sake!
"Babe, hindi mo na pinahinga 'yang pagkainis mo sa 'kin." She said with a sad voice.
"Can you please—"
I was cut off by a hand in front of my face. I groaned and resumed finishing my plate. Alyssa shows off her pa-cute face while watching me eat, which triggered teasing smiles from my siblings.
"Anak kaya namumuti ang buhok mo dahil ang sungit mo kay Alyssa." I heard my Mom say with a small laughter, "Alyssa, salamat sa Suman. Ang dami masyado nito."
She smiled at her, "Walang anuman po, Tita!"
My Dad was not around because he had to leave early for commitments with his business partners, leaving us four here in our house for today.
"Ba't ka ba nandito?" I asked her, we're now sitting in our backyard. "Isang oras at kalahati ka na nandito."
She giggled, "Binilang mo talaga? Mukha naman akong others niyan, babe!" She glances at my two siblings swimming and playing at the pool. "Nag-radiate ba sa dugo niyo ang pagiging maputi? Namumula lang mga balat nila."
I rolled my eyes, "Inggit ka lang!"
"My beauty is natural!" She spats back and taps her chin using the back of her hand. "Iba ang inggit sa marunong mag-appreciate 'no."
"Too confident." I whispered to myself and stood up then removed the towel that is covering my body because I'll join in for a swim.
I'm already in the pool when Jus pointed behind me while silently giggling with Mosh. I raised an eyebrow before looking back and saw Alyssa staring me with mouth open. I felt attacked, so I lowered myself on the pool to hide my body.
It took her seconds to realize that I caught her staring, bigla siyang kumuha ng magazine sa tabing lamesa at nagbasa doon. I smirked at Jus because I know she's hiding her red face in shame.
"Alyssa! Feel free to join them!" Mom blurted upon seeing us swimming.
"Hindi na ho, Tita. Hehehehe!"
"Ate Ly! Sali ka na dito!" Jus invited which caused me to glare. Jus responded with a grin before looking back at Alyssa, "Hintayin ka namin, para may partner si Ate Den!"
I washed my face with water in disbelief, "God. No. No." I said to myself.
"Oo nga, Alyssa!" Mom supported the idea and stared at me while smiling, "'Wag kang mahiya sa amin, welcome na welcome ka dito."
Alyssa scratched her head, "S-Sige po. Uhm, balik lang po ako at kukuha ng pangligo."
Alyssa eventually left and I stood by the side of our pool glaring and wincing at my siblings. Tuwang-tuwa silang dalawa kay Alyssa and I hate it!
"Woah!" I heard Mosh exclaim with mouth open.
I followed his gaze and my eyes stopped at Alyssa going down the pool wearing a beige bikini. My mouth gaped at her stomach, her abs are showing out and her brown skin smoothly brushed the water.
"Ang sexy naman ni Ate!" Jus said while looking at me, agad kong binawi ang pagkatulala ko kay Alyssa. "Lumalaban pala ang tiyan!"
Putangina, Den! Ano nangyari sa'yo do'n?
Winisikan ko ng tubig sila Jus habang iniiwasan na tumingin kay Alyssa. Namalayan ko na lang na magkalapit na kami nang tumambad siya sa harapan ko.
"I forgot to tell you na aside sa natural ang beauty ko, may tiyan rin akong maipagmamalaki!" She pouted and stood beside me.
Huminga ako ng malalim, I suddenly felt uncomfortable after seeing what I saw earlier. I didn't realize the beauty of her body until now and she is lowkey flaunting with grace. It shouldn't be enough for me to stare at her but somehow it caused a rapid beating in my heart. The stare only lasted for a few seconds but to me, it felt like forever.
"Looks like it was enough to catch your attention, ha?" She asked which brought me back to my senses. Nakalimutan ko na katabi ko parin siya. "Akala mo babe ikaw lang? Sexy ka pero sexy rin ako 'no!"
I blasted water on her face, "Overconfident!" I scowled and swam away from her.
The whole time I thought, what and why the fuck did that happen?
