Act II Resumption

All the best people are crazy.

The old woman ran as she hold her grandson close to her chest , she heard all his cries of agony but she decided to ignore all of it. It was all she could do with her weak knees to run in a safe place and save the young boy from all the pain. She was breathing heavily and rain drops slow down all their movements for the stumble and be caught by them.

"Find them!" That thunderous voice made the old woman very afraid as she hugged her grandson, shaking and crying in her shoulders.

"Shh.. my child, your gonna be fine." She tried calming him but it didn't work, instead it makes the boy cry louder. She couldn't help but feel sorry for the young child, for witnessing all of this. He is just four years old and for him to witness all of this.

"And you think you can hide." That voice, it was very cold. The old woman look up, meeting the thunderous dark eyes of the man infront of her, crying she beg them to spare their lives.

"Please, Emperor. I will do anything for you."

" What do you mean? Nobody wants an old gasbag around." The man said and smirk. " Where is the king?"

"He moves away, he's gone! I-- please spare my grandson." The old woman screamed, protecting
her grandson at the best of her abilities. The men around the old woman laugh as if there is something funny and grinned at her, kicking the old woman to reveal the young boy who is silently weeping. " Oi, isn't this kid handsome?" They laugh again.

The boy felt very scared as the other man grasp his arm.
" No,please no! Eren, run!! Please move away, save your---"

The man said as he punch the woman , the woman cough up blood and cried but she still held
a strong will in her heart, her eyes focus on the child.

"Eren,run! Find your--"

His eyes widen as tears form on his eyes , his grandmother, that bastard decapitated her infront of him. The young boy felt scared  but his heart is weeping for the dead. The world...is very cruel. Men laughs as they disappeared in the dark.

"Grandmother?" He called and hug her lifeless body, gloomy eyes and lost in thought. He began rocking the lifeless body of his grandmother. " Can you hear me? You will be fine right?"

He laugh as loud as he can, hands clench, gritting teeth and eyes full of hatred looking at the ship....the ship of Hiruzu empire.

His eyes open wide , a tear unconsciously fell from the corner of his eyes, which he immediately wipe and cursed. Armin came to his room with a deadpanned expression.
"Are you still having a hangover or your just shit right now?"

Eren ignored him and proceed to put on his clothes.

"Oh well, I'm having a transaction with Zachary do you need something?"

" I need you to get out of my room." His voice is cold again,  Armin just sigh, understanding his everyday bad mood, he shakes his head and whisper to himself. What's his problem now?

"You seriously need to give her back to Hiruzu." Armin spoke and observed him from the corner of his eyes, Eren's hand was left hanging mid air as he said those words, silently contemplating his words and keeping his thin lined lips.

"Where is that girl?" He ask, avoiding Armin's eyes. The blonde man snorted and point his finger on the door. " Outside, she wants to think, so she is on the edge. Not sure though, she's probably planning to jump in the water and die from the impact."

He said without care, watching as the other man quickly left the room. He raised his eyebrows. "Is it love?" He ask himself, laughing at the ridiculous thought.

Mikasa let out a sigh as her gloomy eyes scan the sea. That dream or nightmare, she can't remember exactly what was happening in there but it is dangerous.

That dream is hunting her and it's making her mind hurt from so much thinking.

The gentle wind breeze is the only thing capable of calming her by feeling it carressed her skin.

"Oi!" She look at him, an annoyed sigh escaping her mouth as he stood beside her.

"What do you need?"

"Are you going to escape?"

"And how am I going to escape?" She raised an eyebrow at him, then closing her eyes in annoyance.

"Who knows, your crazy enough to do that." He shrugged and it made her piss off.

" I might be crazy but I value my life." She grunted, still annoyed at him. If there is a fork here, she will surely hit him with it. Not wanting to be piss any further, she switch her attention  from him and to the bright blue sea below them. She wish she could see dolphins. They are the best and cutest sea animal for her. Her black hair is being swayed by the wind but it didn't annoy her as much as it did the first time she step here.

"Do you need something from me?" She ask with her eyebrow raise at him, watching carefully.
"What happened to the annual between pirates? I got drunk so I don't know. "

He casted his eyes low, his voice is as gloomy as usual. " You don't have to know. "

"Oh come on... I come with you as your wife." She cringe at herself for saying those words but she is really curious if what's happening.

"Well, you would know if you didn't get yourself so drunk to the point that I have to carry you back to the ship. "

" You carried me. " She breath out, heart beating fast and gulping. For some reason it made her blush.

He sigh, folding his arms and leaning on the pole, giving her a bored look.

"Yes, and your as heavy as a pregnant pig."
