Maybe I'm falling for you.

Levi grab the painting of his sister on the wall, sighing while looking at it with an indifferent expression. His normal facial expression seems hurt, his hand grab the painting of his younger sister tightly. He will leave today, he ask the permission of his mother and father, they agreed to him because they know that Paradis is a useless partner. The emperor and empress sent their best wishes to him.

"Levi," Hange called him, she step to the door of his castle rather carefully. She look over his shoulders, looking at the painting that he is holding, a small smile form on her lips.
" You really miss her don't you? Even if you don't admit it by words, your actions shows that you do."

Levi snorted as he place the painting carefully in the table.
" I'm leaving, take care of this place."

"Ooohhhhh! You trust me to take care of your palace?" A nice blushed spread across her face , she appreciates the fact that he trusts her, she held her chest and thank him.
" Oh, Levi, I didn't know that you trust me this much. I promise to make this palace a shining and shimmering place don't you worry. I'm such a good care taker."

She daydream while Levi look at him like she's some type of a special idiot. " I'm talking to the person behind you."

" Your breaking the heart of your future wife, Idiot." She replied with a deadpanned expression while Levi shrugged at her. His mother entered the palace with a warm smile plastered in her beautiful face. The Empress look over at Hange with a warm smile yet behind those smile hidden the pain she's feeling, grieving for her daughter, wanting her to close to her all over again.

She felt relieve that Mikasa is alive yet grieving at the same time, she didn't know what her child must have been experiencing in the hands of that bastard.

"Your leaving soon Levi?" His mother ask, he nodded his head and give her a small smile.
"Well, atleast take this food I made and be careful, the sea could be a dangerous enemy too. Bring your sister back, your father had fallen ill again , I'll see what I can do. I'll talk to the village of the west and try to bring back a doctor. Your sister is strong, she can take care of herself, I know that and will never allow someone to disrespect her." 

" Right, Mikasa is such a great woman. She can carry herself like a Queen without a crown and besides, she can probably defeat you." Hange raised her eyebrows and smiled when Levi glared at her.

"Hange, don't bully my son that much, his short patience couldn't tolerate that. " His mother said and sit on one of the chairs there.
"Levi, I'm counting on you and I'll make sure your father will recover."

" Yes,mother." He replied and look at Hange. " Don't ever come inside my palace, shitty glasses."

Hange pouted, " Why? That's so evil if you, you know?"

" Shut up."

Mikasa ate the fruit Gabi had given her earlier while looking at the sea. She wish that she could go back home soon enough but she had made a promise with him and she's not going to break it, she will never break that promise. Mikasa felt the cold impact of air on her body as she look at the bright sky with a smile on her face.

Eren look at her with an irritated expression present on his face.

Why does she looks so happy?

Sometimes he doesn't really know what's going on in her mind and sometimes he want to know if she's losing her mind or what?

Maybe if she's acting crazy, he will throw her in the ocean and let the sharks eat her, but pretty sure she will drag him with her so  he won't do that. Mikasa look behind her, finding him looking at her like an idiot who don't know what to do in his life. Mikasa wave her hands, smiling at him and looking at the sea again before deciding to come closer to his direction.

"You look like an idiot." She said as she approached him.

"...and you look like a pig who is giving birth to twenty little pigs." He replied , Mikasa punched his shoulder.

"That's disrespectful." She said, she knitted her eyebrows and step on his foot.

"Your right, it's disrespectful to the pigs." He shakes his head as she slowly remove his foot from hers.

"Your annoying." A heavy sigh escape his lips, looking at his green eyes. His eyes were beautiful but dull and lifeless, as if it had gone through death and back to life again. " Your facial expression tells me that you aren't happy."

" Am I supposed to be happy?"

" No,"  she replied, hesitant.
"But...what made you like this? Why is that you seemed emotionless?"

" Life isn't fair, that's it." He replied to her and sat down , Mikasa shakes her head.

"That's not what I mean." She replied again, her voice is quiet , like she is whispering those words into the thin air. Mikasa look down at him.
"What turned you like this? Tell me please, how would I help you if you can't even tell me anything."

" My grandmother was killed infront of me."

A long silence pass by between the two of them. Mikasa doesn't know how to reply at that kind of thing. Should she say sorry? Contemplating , that's what she is doing on her mind right now, fiddling with her fingers.

"That's rough, pal. " she replied, not knowing what to say.

"...and I thought your grandfather did that and it's not him but another person, now I have to start all over again just to give her justice."

" You weren't as bad as I thought you were." She said and look at him, an exhausted sigh escape her lips. " Tell me more please."

"Why do you want to know?" He ask in a very low tone.

" Huh?" The question caught her off guard so she look away. " I don't know."

Is it what I think it is? Like those things mother told me when I was a child? It was different but when I'm looking at him, why does it feel like it? Am I into him?

"I will find that person, who ever they are. They will know and experience my Hatred, they will taste the pain they gave me." He said angrily, a little tear fell down his eye but Mikasa didn't notice it, she doesn't need to anyway. 

"Eren.." she called, I any to support you but I know that it is wrong and it will only caused you more pain, I just want to know who but I could never support your revenge.

Her mind did an inner turmoil, troubled, she didn't know. She want to help him yet not wanting to support his ways at all. She stared at his back a few minutes more before Gabi came and offer her a drink.
