"Really?? You did?"
"Yeah Kullachi" he said as if it was nothing.
I sighed. A week had passed since the day I slapped Aakash. We were sitting on the terrace of my house, next to each other. I just asked him about what did he do to pay back to that culprit Aakash for the project thing...
He said that he complained against him to the authorities the next day of the meeting itself and made him suspended for 3 months, and he was coming to the college since just a few days before.
"Don't let him come near you" he said. His eyes were narrowed but his lips were slightly pouted. Awwiee...
I smiled and turned to other side before he could notice.
"Okay..." I took his hand in mine.
"Did you prepared well for the interview?" I asked him playing with his finger which was carrying our DNA ring, as he had to attend the interview on Monday which was two days ahead. I was really nervous but really don't know why I was.
"Hmm... Why are you nervous? What's wrong?" How did he know?
"I don't know..." I pouted.
He looked at me with his gleaming eyes and brought me to his warm embrace. I closed my eyes and sank my face into his chest as if to ask him to never let go as I put my arms around him. His embrace was warm, and his arms seemed very protective when wrapped around my frail body.
I knew that he would pass the interview. But I didn't want to know that he would leave me.
I could feel him placing a sweet kiss on the top of my head and then replacing the kiss by his chin.
I inhaled his cologne as he played with my hair strands and didn't know when sleep took over me.
When I opened my eyes, I was in my bed. My eyes were searching for him. I heard my door opening sound. I expected him to come in but mom came which means he left.
"Are you awake already?" She asked arranging my neatly folded clothes in cupboard. I hummed in response rubbing my eyes.
She talked for sometime saying that they are going to temple with my soon to be parents in-law.
Should I be happy for him or sad for me??
No... I should be happy for us...
