"Oye...!!"

I heard a very familiar voice, and turned back, the sight I saw only made my eyes widened...

"Pavi...!!!?" Involuntarily my mouth whispered her name...

"Iniiieee...!!!" ('Ini' is the nickname of Shalini, given by none other than our Pavi) Pavi squealed happily...

I was still in shock, but my legs started to take steps towards her...

She started to run to me, we hugged each other tightly.  After few seconds, we released our hug, I saw her with my wide eyes.

"Pavii... How... You... Here... What are you doing here, gurl...!!??" I said stammering and raised my voice at the end.

"For my admission da" she said in her usual high pitch voice.

"Whatt??" I frowned, she smiled widely and said "You heard it right Ini...".

I was literally shocked, I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it wordlessly.

She laughed at my reaction, I fake glared at her, keeping my hands at my hips, raised my eyebrows and said "Care to explain?".

She stifled her laugh and started telling her story, " Even I too thought that I'll leave you here and go to Vizag for my studies and started applying for it. But my sweet and overprotective brother wants me here in his eyesight. So I joined in the same college..." She shrugged as it was nothing. I knew her brother Bittu too studied in this college. I don't know his real name, she always addresses him as 'Bittu' only.

After listening to it, I started squealing, again hugged her smiling widely. She laughed and hugged me back. We both studied together from the seventh grade. We both have more similarities in character and taste.

"Which course da?" I asked her once we released our hug. "Microbiology and I know you chose Biotechnology, did't you?". Yeah, we already discussed about this at our school days.

I nodded my head up and down, I was really happy. I missed her rantings, antics, hugs, fights and everything about her. Totally I missed her so much. I met her after more than 2 months. Now there is no need to worry about her well being and college admission as she is right in front of my eyes. And I know she also felt the same.

"Paappaa, shall we go?" My dad voice interrupted, I nodded and said "You go to parking pa... I'll be there in 2 minutes" to him. He mumbled a small okay and went.

I again turned to her and said, "What happened to Aunty's phone?? I have tried a million times, but couldn't reach you" I pouted at the end.

"Hey sorry da, Amma phone was damaged when we sent it to repair, she lost her sim card, so Appa brought her new sim card. But I forgot your number, so couldn't contact you, sorry chellakutty..."(endearment) she said and pulled my cheeks with her long fingers.
