He called me a few times but I ignored it as I decided. I was angry at him. I didn't even thought he would do that. Didn't he care for me? I already suffered for a whole year without him. He was asking me to suffer one more month. How dare he?

I adjusted my bag on my shoulders. I was walking back from the bakery where I ordered a cake to celebrate his return. But I cancelled it today.

My phone ringed. I thought it must be him and was going to ignore it. But no. It's Jeevi Maa.

"Hello..."

"Hey, Where are you now Shalu??" She asked.

"Just a little walk. Umm... May be an ice-cream parlour?" I said with a smile beyond my sadness, just for Jeevi Maa. And I need an ice-cream to relax my ranting mind.

"Exactly where?" She asked. Why?

"Our regular place, Scoop and Joy Lounge" I said entering there.

She said a cheerful okay and cut the call. I shrugged it off and ordered my as usual choice, double chocolate icecream with choco chips.

I bought my order and sat on a table. I enjoyed my icecream in silence. I forcefully pushed the thought of him being with me now.

I got up after finishing my ice cream and paid for it. I came out and started walking towards my home. But a voice stopped me.

"Oye Kullachi..." A voice shouted. HE shouted. I froze. My heart stopped doing what it should be doing then. Then it started beating again, louder than before. My heart beat feels like it could be heard miles away, but its only for my ears.

What ifs started to wander my mind as I slowly turned around.

You're here...

The busy street became almost numb to my ears, I can hear nothing, focusing on the figure in front of me, a little far from me.

I see you.
But is it you?
Is this real?

I started walking towards you, my lips slowly forming the letters of his name. I couldn't find my voice in this time but I kept trying.

The breathe from my lungs was taken away with all the people walking past me. It was you. The moment froze for me in my head, it replayed over and over till I was convinced it was real.

A small grin that I always saw through the mobile and laptop screen planted itself on his lips, making it more real. I started to walk faster. The pace between us increases till I started sprinting towards him. His name escaped my lips as I get closer and closer.
