She froze as his lips were attached with hers. Her eyes widened and breathe hitched. Her grip on her phone was started getting looser. But he held her hand and kept her phone on her ear. He started moving his lips and kissed her lovingly.

""Hello...?? Shalu...!!? Are you there?" Arjun called her a number of times.
But she couldn't find herself to answer him. His other hand traveled from her cheek to her hair not before caressing her soft ears. His fingers vanished into her hair. He rubbed his fingers rubbed so softly on her back head just behind her ear. She couldn't help but leaned on to his touch. She felt herself getting dizzy.
There Arjun started getting worried. He started walking out of the canteen. Pavi shouted at him asking where he was going. He didn't care to answer her and started running towards the Biotechnology department. Pavi frowned at him and eventually followed him slowly taking his bag along with her.
Nishanth was still kissing her. Her mind went blank. She was staring at his eyes which were closed.
Meanwhile, Gee and Udhay were also in the same room. Udhay was shocked to see what his friend was doing. Gee was awestruck at the scene in front of her. She saw these scenes only in dramas not in real. She opened her mouth to squeal but stopped when a hand closed it. She turned and saw Udhay there shaking his head as no. He glanced at them who were at a corner of the lab and turned back to her. He placed his forefinger of other hand on his lips saying her to be silent. She nodded absent-mindedly staring at the person in front of her. Udhay took his hand back.
Nishanth took her mobile from her hands and tucked into his coat pocket. And again intertwined his fingers with her which clutched her phone together till then. And pinned it on the wall beside her head. He started kissing her passionately. His other hand didn't stop playing with her hair.

She didn't kiss him back. May be because she was shy or lack of experience. But she closed her eyes unknowingly. Her knees were going to give up at anytime as they were becoming jelly.
Arjun reached the department of Biotechnology, he asked someone where the classes for first years were. He went to the third floor, but he didn't knew which classroom she was in. He started searching every class room, and when he didn't find her, he panicked.
Pavi then only reached the Biotech block. He reached the end of corridor. There were two doors oppositely located. He saw 'UG lab' sign on a door, he opened it quickly and his eyes scanned the full room, but couldn't find her. He came out and saw the opposite door, 'PG lab' was written on it. He didn't think twice before opening the door.
The heads of Udhay and Gee turned towards the door which was opened then. Arjun saw their shocked faces and tilted his head towards left. His eyes widened in shock and he couldn't able to breathe. The scene in front of his eyes was the last thing he wanted to see.
The grip on his phone was loosened causing it to fall on the ground. Nishanth stopped kissing her. She turned her head to see where that sound came from and saw Arjun there. He looked broken. She placed her hand on Nishanth's shoulder and pushed him lightly.
Nishanth took back his hands from her hair and a step back from her. But he didn't leave her hand which was intertwined with his.
"Aju...!!?" Shalini whispered. She was shocked to see the expression in his face. Aju was staring at her face. His eyes moved from her face to Nishanth's face and his expression changed into anger.
He walked towards Nishanth by talking long and quick steps. Arjun went near him and clutched his shirt collar pushed him to the wall glaring at him.
"What do you think of yourself, huh?? Don't you dare to come near her again" Arjun said to him angrily glaring at him.
"Aju..." She tried to control him by placing her hand on his shoulder while the other was still intertwined with Nishanth's. She herself couldn't figure out what just happened.
Arjun tilted his head towards her, but what caught his attention was their intertwined hands. He saw her eyes with broken expression.
"You too??" He whispered. She didn't understand what he was asking about. She frowned at him. He turned back to Nishanth, "Leave her hand" he hissed.
"Who are YOU to tell that?" Nishanth questioned raising an eyebrow.
Arjun took a deep breath, "I'm her friend, you jerk"
Nishanth released Arjun's hand from his collar, "Then stay beside her, not between me and her..."
Shalini was so confused of their behaviour. Arjun faced her, "Why did you do that, Shalu?"
"Me?? I... I di-didn't..." She couldn't form a sentence. She didn't even know why her senior kissed her suddenly and why her best friend was so angry with them. Then the realisation hit her, Arjun was always been overprotective towards her. But why was he looking shattered was her confusion.
"It was me who initiated the kiss" Nishanth said the truth protectively holding her hand tightly.
"I know that. But why didn't you push him away??" Arjun hissed.
"I-I... I can explain" she didn't know why he was behaving like that. But she knew that she didn't want to see his face in that expression. She already saw him in a broken and vulnerable state when his parents died. She was there with him at that time. And that time she decided to keep him happy thereafter. She couldn't see him like that.
"Aju... Aju, listen to me" she said in a low voice moving towards him and took her hand back from Nishanth's hold.
"Aju..." She whispered cupping his face in her hands. Instead of her eyes, he stared at the floor. She panicked to him like that.
"Do you like him?? Did you kis-kissed him back??" He asked her in a low voice.
"N-no no... I don't like him. And I didn't kiss him, Aju" she said. She just wanted to see him normal and nothing else.
"Then why didn't you push him??" He asked still not making the eye contact.
"I... That... Aju... That just happened in th-the heat of the moment" she said stammering because she herself didn't know the answer for that question.
Finally he looked up at her eyes searching for the truth in her eyes. She nodded at him. But what she didn't know was she broke a heart while convincing Arjun.
