Life went smooth for everyone. Arjun and Pavi's relationship was getting stronger and stronger with so much understanding between them. Udhay and Gee were so cute in their relationship. "Where were you?" Kavitha asked her coming to kitchen.
"What's this question Maa? Ofcourse, in college" she replied boiling the water.
"Then, Then who is the guy you went with on the bike?" Kavitha gritted her teeth.
Shalini's froze and in shock turned to see her mother. Kavitha was glaring at her as she confirmed now that what her brother said was true by Shalini's actions.
"Maa... That..." Shalini stammered badly. She was shivering in fear.
"Stop it, you shameless girl. I'll talk to your father" she said and slammed her hand on the kitchen counter and accidentally hit the plate stand but she was too angry to notice that and went to her room. The plate stand fell on the stove and the hot water spilled on Shalini's right hand. She screamed in pain and went near the wash basin letting the cold water reduce the burning. Tears were flowing from her eyes. She turned off the tap and stove and ran to her room. She locked the door and sat near the door.
