3rd person POV
"How do you feel Melody?" Richard asked.
Melody sat up from the bed. "Like I just got hit by a car. Otherwise i feel perfectly fine."
"Well that's expected, you got hit by a car." Meredith adds.
"Well you should get some rest." Richard said patting her shoulder turning to leave.
"Hey Richard?" Melody called to him.
"Yea?"
"When can I get back to working?" She asked.
"Well since the crash was minor I would say two weeks. But I'm kinda getting tired of seeing your face everyday so three weeks should be good enough."
Melody placed a hand to her chest. While Meredith laughed at her sisters shocked face receiving a death glare.
"What about my interns?"
"Melody, we all know you work alone." Richard walked out the door.
A few minutes pass by. While the sisters stayed in silence neither nothing to say a word.
Meredith breaking the silence clears her throat.
"What?"
"How was your date?" Meredith asks.
Melody face heats up and she looks around. "I don't know i can't remember." She lies. Meredith looks to her unconvinced.
Melody clears her throat still blushing. "It was ok."
"Just ok?" Meredith asks furrowing her eyebrows.
"I don't remember much but I do know we kissed."
She said covering her face with embarrassment.
"You kissed! Did he kiss you or did you kiss him?"
Melody looks up with a confused face. "Why, does it matter?"
"Of course it matters!" She sits down next to her on the bed.
"How-" she starts.
"If he kissed you he probably wants more. But if you kissed him it indicates that you want to go out again. If you meet in the middle you both want more."
"Well I kissed him. And I do want more, I wouldn't have kissed him if the date didn't go well. And it did at least I think it did in his case. But for the buts I do remember I did have fun. For a hospital whore her sure knows how to make a girl swoon." It seemed like little hearts were forming in her eyes.
"Well then. Oh before I forget I should probably tell you Lexi came by earlier."
"Oh you know she thinks you hate her?"
"I don't hate her I was just confused I mean i just found out i have another sister. If I did hate her I would never speak to her again after I caught her sleeping with Alex."
"Wait what!"
"Yes my reaction exactly." She sighs.
"How do you know they slept together?"
"They left the room together. This morning." She replies.
"Wait then what time is it?"
"Well it's 8:26 right now but you've been asleep for about 2 days and a half." She frowns.
"Hey I'm up now." Melody says nudging her shoulder.
"I was scared, when Richard called and then I saw you. I can't lose you Mel. We just lost mom."
"You won't, at least not now I've got a few years left." Melody says hugging Meredith from the side.
