I was currently waiting for Kahlil to get out of school.
"Mommy" Auna said
"Yes?" I said
"I'm hungry"
"Okay after we get Kahlil we can get food" I said
She nodded, and went back to watching her iPad. A few minutes later Kahlil walked up to the car with a teacher behind him.
"Hi Mrs. Ashton"
"Hi Ms. Cassidy wussup?" I asked
"Today Kahlil had got into an altercation with another student so he is suspended for a week. We called his father, but he didn't answer so he was just sitting in the office all day." she said
"Okay thank you" I said smiling, and rolling up the window
"What the fuck happened Kahlil?" I asked pulling off
"Ma he tried to bully me, and I wasn't going for that" he said shaking his head
"Mm you ain't in trouble cause you was sticking up for yourself i'm still gon take yo electronics tho'. You need to stop the fighting shit Kahlil it's been the same thing with you since 1st grade" I said pulling up to Wendy's
I got the kids some food then headed to the house. We pulled up, and got out I unlocked the door, and we headed inside.
I heard laughter coming from the living room I walked in seeing everybody, and they kids here.
"What y'all in my house for?" I asked
"Cause ain't shit else to do" Mike said
"Uncle Mike"Auna said running to him
"Jah I need to talk to you" I said
He nodded getting up, and we walked to the back.
"Wussup?" he asked looking at me
"Kahlil got suspended, and they called you but you ain't answer so he was sitting in the office all day" I said
"Oh my fault I was at work so my phone on was on do not disturb, but what he get suspended for?"
"He said someone was tryna bully him" I said
"Oh aiight"
"Yeah I just thought you should know since you know you always get mad when I don't tell you stuff regarding the kids"
"Fasho" he said then we headed in the house
I walked in the living room sitting next to Tre
"Where the twins at ?" I asked
"I don't know they left school with the rest of us, but we haven't seen em" Lanie said
"Oh okay"
I took out my phone calling them, but they ain't answer causing me to scrunch up my face cause they always answer my calls I just shrugged it off, and put my phone away.
We all sat around talking for a few hours before everyone left. The twins still haven't came home, and we had all already ate dinner it was now 10, and I was just sitting on the couch waiting for them to come back.
"Baby you good?" Tre asked sitting next me
"Yea" I said
"You not gon go to bed?"
